Chapter 1
Ever since Sakura was young her grandfather told her stories, stories of the great dragons and more importantly how one day she would get her wings and fly, they where her favorites, she could just imagine becoming the fierce beast blowing fire as she swept though the sky, he told her one day she would come into her birthright and the great dragons of old would be once more again.
"Sakura" a voice wishperd, she spun around but couldn't see anything in the inky blackness that lay around her, "Sakura" the voice sounded again closer this time, she strained her eyes against the darkness looking for the person who was calling her name. She knew them this person was close to her, but she couldn't place who they where her heart ached for this person they where home, "Sakura remember the stories of old, remember the great dragons, it's time my dear come into your birthright, spread your wings and sore my heartling". Once more she spun looking frantically for the person who was whispering to her, trying to catch a glimpse of her long missed grandfather, "what, wait grandfather please" she yelled terrified this would be the very last time she could talk to him, "remember Sakura" his voice called form father away this time like he was walking away, Sakura in a panic started running after him "wait grandfather" she yelled with, then with a mighty rumble the ground gave away and she was falling deep into the blacknest, she opened her mouth to scream but that came out was a bone chilling roar.
Sakura sat up in bed sweat dripping from her face, what was that she thought looking at her hands, she hadn't dreamed of her grandfather in years and never a dream like that, she shivered as a cold wind swept though her room, caring the sound of that awful roar with it chilling her even more. She looked at the clock on her night stand it blinked three in the morning, March 28th today was her birthday she was officially eighteen and for some reason knowing that made her nausea, something big was going to happen today she could feel it on the wind, something life changing and she didn't know if she was ready for it or not!
