Chapter 8

LISA'S POV

After a small fight between me and jennie last night , we haven't talk except during the time she came into my room when i'm in the middle of my sleep.I thought she was coming to pick another fight with me but gladly she didn't , even if she did , i think i'll beg her to save it for tomorrow instead since i was absolutely weary last night that all i want to do is to throw myself on my bed and fall asleep instantly

This morning i left the house early which one of the reason is because i don't know how to face jennie.i'm not sure if she's already fine with what happened or if she's still mad at me , and i don't think she want me to send her to her college again so i thought i'll just give her some space before we both are ready to talk about it

"Thankyou mina" i smile at my secretary when she placed a plate that are fulled with toasted bagels and muffins on it

I didn't ask her to buy this for me , it was by chance she asked me if i already had my breakfast or not , and when she knew that i haven't had yet she immediately insist to buy this for me

"Please take your breakfast before you start working lisa , it's for your health" she scolds me.I chuckle and take a sip of my coffee before i shove the whole muffin inside my mouth , and my eyes instantly squeezed shut when the creamy substances that melted inside my mouth sent a whole different feelings of satisfaction inside me.it's incredibly tasty

Maybe i can buy this for jennie later

"Do you want some?this is good" i asked , lifting one of it to mina

"Are you even listening to me?"she sigh while placing her hands on her hips , i swallow the rest of the muffin inside my mouth and rolled my eyes

"Yeah i heard you" i said while took another bagels.She shake her head and organize my desk that are cluttered with my documents and files

"Oh and , i've already sent your schedules for today through your email , you have a meeting with our investor in 2 hours from now and i'll remind you again 30 minutes early "

"Okay , thankyou mina" I said with a nodded.She then took the empty plate and cup on my desk and leave the room

I drew in a long breath and stretch my arms before i slide my chair closer to my desk.i pick up my phone and look at all of the meeting that i have for today , which the company of taehyung's father is also included in one of it

Speak of him , i'm still curious about the scene that i saw yesterday.Why is jennie was with him?if it's not because of the silly fight we had yesterday , i would already got to ask jennie about it

Nothing is wrong for jennie to have a guy friend , but at the memories of him ever flirted with one of my employees when we were literally was in the meeting room to discuss about serious matters , and at the time when he were asking my secretary's number right in front of my face , it's already made me have a bad impression oh him , and surely i will never let my wife be close with someone like him

If he thought he can have every girls that he want just because of his looks and his wealth , then my wife is an exception

Because i won't let that happen

JENNIE'S POV

"When she will be home.." i sigh and throw my phone on the bed , leaning my back against the headboard as my eyes fixed on the white wall in front of me

I'm not sure if it was because of me , but i think lisa left early this morning because she was trying to avoid me.i went to college with jisoo and when i got back , the house are still empty without any presence of human inside it
