Good morning or evening, depending of the moment you read these lines and above all, in fact, if you are reasonable or not in your sleep pattern. Personally, my old friend insomnia keeps me awake until impossible hours... Anyway, if you want to go directly to the story, please scroll down, there isn't much interesting to read here, really.

For those who are still here, I just wanted to share with you the context in which I wrote this story. To sum-up, I'll just do a long, boring and useless monologue, and you'll judge (or not) if it is worth your interest :D.

Originally, the scenario of this story was the result of a 4 years self-thinking in order to escape from daily routine and sometimes while "trying" to fall asleep. And then, recently, I thought: "After alllll, you're writing plenty of campaign scenarios as a DM, you're writing RP stuff for literally everything, and you have decent amounts of time while you're not working. So... Why not giving a chance to your dear beloved universe?" And that's more or less how I throwed myself into the Chronicles of the Federation's writing, starting here, with the Chronicles of the First Contact War. To be honest, it's my favourite part of the scenario, but it's probably nostalgia talking here and maybe, as I'll write more and more parts, I'll realise that I do prefer another part of the script. Normally, si laziness, lack of inspiration and time or IRL work doesn't end this brutally, the final project should be split between multiple books, each of them more or less big. How many? I have no fucking clue.

That being said, good reading and happy hunting!
