I place my hands on my hips, smiling to see my new room. My brother peeks over my shoulder. I know he grins behind me because I can feel his sense. He brushes my hair and my smile grow wider, knowing that he is proud of what I have done to this room.

"Good job, sis." Lewis says and he steps inside my room.

"You know I hate to start over but this time is different. I'm an adult now, legally, so I have to take more responsibilities of my life." I reply, I sit on the edge of my bed. "How's yours?"

"Eh, you know." He shrugs it off, waves his hand to stop me asking more.

I laugh, thinking that his room is still a huge mess. He likes to do everything based on his mood, but I know when his mood is good, he will do anything.

"So." He starts. "School is tomorrow. I'll drop you off before I go to work and I will pick you up after school. Dad had talked to your principal so you just need to ask your schedule and begin your last year of school."

"Okay." I lay on my back. "Why don't Dad just give me a car? Does he forget that I'm officially adult, now?"

I see Lewis smiles before he speaks. "You know that I'm responsible to your safety and silly life, right? He doesn't forget, but he makes sure that you're not jeopardize yourself. I know you can drive but I'm not allowing myself to let you get hurt even if the small things. That's what brothers do."

"Aww, thank you Lewis." I smile sarcastically. "Now you make me feel like I'm five again." I roll my eyes.

"Hey! You will always be my little sister no matter how old you are!" He definitely is messing with my hair.

"No! Lewis! Stop! You ruin my hair!"

Lewis doesn't stop, he continues to mess with my hair and we laugh together until he stops.

"How's Jessica?" He asks all of sudden, he leans on my desk and I stand up quickly.

I don't know how to tell him that Jessica and I are over. Lewis definitely knows my relationship with Jessica since he is the one who knows me so well.

"Uh, fine, I guess." I scratch my neck.

"Pppfftt!" He suppresses his laugh. "Don't lie to me, sis. Brianna told me that you guys are over."

I cross my arms over my chest, clearly annoyed by him. "If you already knew, then why you asked in the first place?"

"I just want to hear it from you since you didn't tell me in the first place." He crosses his arms, imitating me.

"You and Brianna really are annoying!" I pout.

"Come on." He walks towards me. "You don't have to lie to me, sis. I'm sorry but I just wanted to know what happened with you two. Brianna told me that she heard you guys argued."

"She eavesdropped us!" I exclaim.

"No, she didn't." Lewis says calmly. "She was on the phone with me when she heard Jessica and you were arguing."
