That stormy night, a tall house, on a rock island somewhere out at sea."Where is that?" Seamus asked cautiously.
Many heads turned to face her, waiting for an answer.
"Hell."
The Dursleys, including Mia have moved there, due to the chaos with the letters. The family is sleeping, with Mia on the cold, dirt floor with Dudley sleeping on a sofa. Mia has drawn a birthday cake which reads, Happy Birthday. She looks at Dudley's watch, which beeps 12:00.
As Mia watched the scene a silent tear trace her way down her cheeks. She fights to hold back the tide of emotions, to maintain a brave face despite her vulnerability laid bare for all to see.
Mia wiped away her tears and held herself together.
Meanwhile, as the rest of the Hogwarts watches Mia's private moments unfold, a mix of sympathy, curiosity, and empathy fills the Great Hall. For some, it deepens their understanding of the often unacknowledged hardships she endures. For others, it sparks a newfound respect and admiration for her fortitude.
"Oh, the poor thing! How we didn't realize such conditions she lived in." Molly whispered to her husband, Arthur
Arthur nodded solemnly. "Yeah, it's like she's invisible, even under everyone's watchful eyes."
As the scene plays out, the collective gaze of the students and faculty lingers on Mia, sending waves of support and unspoken solidarity towards her.
Mia: make a wish, Mia. [She blows the "candles" on the drawn birthday cake]
"What did you wish for, Mia?" Luna Lovegood curiously asked the girl.
Mia smiled sadly. "I wished for... a world filled with kindness and understanding. A world where everyone can be happy and loved."
"Blimey, Mia! Your wish is enough to warm anyone's heart. I can't help but believe it's possible." Ron told her.
Mia's wish carried a weight that touched the hearts of all who watched. It reminded them of their own hopes and dreams, as well as the power of collective goodness.
"A remarkable wish, Mia. It is a reminder that the power to create a kinder world lies within each of us." Professor McGonagall looked at the chosen one and gave her a small smile.
Suddenly, the door thumps, in sync with the thunder flashing. Mia jumps. The door thumps again and Dudley and Mia jump up back away. She hides behind a wall, and Dudley cowers on a windowsill. Petunia and Vernon appear, with Vernon holding a double barrel gun.
Everyone in the great hall jumped and clutched their hearts.
Vernon: Who's there?! Ahh!
The door bangs again and then falls down, and a giant man appears. As he comes into the clear lighting, the giant man himself reveals to be Rubeus Hagrid.
Hagrid: Sorry about that. [trying to put the door back on it place.]As Hagrid struggled to put the door back into its frame, Fred and George Weasley, were the first to let out a hearty chuckle. Their laughter was infectious, spreading like wildfire through the crowd. Soon, others joined in, their mirth echoing throughout the room.
Ron, with a smirk on his faces, couldn't contain himself either, finding the situation immensely amusing. Hermione, though trying to maintain her usual composed demeanor, couldn't help but let out a giggle at Hagrid's antics. Mia, grinning from ear to ear, held back her laughter.
Hagrid, although a bit flustered by the attention, took the laughter in good spirits. With a grin of his own, he playfully waved his hand, acknowledging the amusement he had inadvertently caused.
Vernon: [aiming his gun at him] I demand that you leave at once, sir! You are breaking and entering! [As Petunia quietly gasps in fear, Hagrid grabs the gun and bends it upwards.]
"You keep on impressing me everyday Hagrid." Sirius laughed as he watch the scene unfold.
Hagrid looked at Sirius with a look of gratitude and smiled.
Mia couldn't help but nod her head.
Hagrid: Dry up, Dursley, you great prune. [The gun fires upwards, blasting a hole in the ceiling, causing the two to shriek in fear. Hagrid notices Dudley.] Mind, I haven't seen her since she was a baby, Mia. Where is she?
Dudley: S-She's there.
[Mia reveals herself]
Mi: I-I here, [He looks at Mia] I'm MiaPeople in the hall awed as they watched Mia being so scared and shy at the same time, but trying so hard to beat the two and act tough and confident.
Hagrid: Well, of course you are! Got somethin' for yeh. 'Fraid I might have sat on it at some point, but I imagine it'll taste fine just the same. Ahh. [Hagrid hands Mia the cake]
"That's really sweet of you, Hagrid." Remus told him as his eyes held many emotions.
Hagrid: Baked it myself, words and all. Heh.
[Mia opens cake, which reads "Happee Birthdae Mia" in green frosting.]
Mia: Thank you! That very kind of you!
Hagrid: It's not every day that yer young girl turns 11, now is it? Aye?The atmosphere in the room turned somber, touched by the profound sincerity in her expression of gratitude. It reminded everyone of the importance of celebrating birthdays and cherishing each individual's special day.
Mia, with a gentle tone and a joyful smile, revealed, "That was actually my very first cake." Remus and Sirius, sitting by her side, each took hold of her hand and returned the smile.
"And it certainly won't be your final one," Remus assured.
"We promise," Sirius added with conviction.
