Chirstmas Announcement

Master has an announcement today about the Christmas party. I hope he liked my idea about 'Secret Santa'. If he does I'll be able to set my ships up, hehehehe. Everyone is here now, so he should be making the announcement soon.

I looked around the room to and everyone seated in their normal places, I smirked. Lucy and Natsu where sat next to each other on a table with Happy, Carla and Wendy. They're all laughing which is good. I noticed that Romeo was staring at Wendy from the other side of the guild, that's so cute! Erza and Gray had joined that table too, and I could see that Juvia was clinging to Gray's leg. I looked around again and saw Levy with team Shadow Gear, she was reading a book as usual but every so often she would look up from her book then quickly look back down with a tint of pink on her cheeks, I followed where her eyeline had previously been and saw Gajeel at one of the tables at the back of the guild with Pantherlily. Gajeel was sneaking glances at Levy any opportunity he got. HA! I knew it! My plan is totally going to work! I heard Evergreen and Elf-niichan fighting over something again, they're gonna be quite hard to get together even though it's really obvious they like each other. I also saw that Lisanna-nii was looking at Bixlow every now and then and sighing deeply to herself, whenever he looked over to her she would pretend to be doing something else. She's so cute at times. I giggled to myself quietly and started cleaning some more mugs.

"What's got you in such a good mood?" Laxus' voice broke through my train of thought. I guess my giggle wasn't as quiet as I thought. I'll try and act it off.

"Mm? Oh nothing, I'm just excited for Christmas!" . . . what? I did my best.

"Oh right. I don't get what's so great about it, it's the same every year." he rolled his eyes and sighed. Clearly he hasn't heard my genius plan.

"Well I have a feeling it'll be different this year." I gave him a reassuring smile hoping he'll buy it and go away so I can plan more.

"Oh yeah? How do you know?" clearly he isn't getting the message. I made a beer and passed it to him.

"I just do." I gave my signature smile and winked at him laughing slightly. He became flustered and looked confused, what's wrong with him?

"Oh right.." is all he said before he took his beer and headed back to the table his team were at. Well that was weird. Anyway back to planning.

Laxus P.O.V
I walked back over to my team after talking with Mira. I still can't get the fact that she winked at me out of my head. Why did she do that? Was it just I get rid of me? Did she find out I like her? No that's not it, I doubt she would have done that if that was the case she probably doesn't even like me back.

"How'd it go?" Freed asked as soon as I sat down. He knows I like Mira and has been plaguing me about asking her out ever since, which is weird because I was totally sure he had a crush on me or even that he liked her.

"She...I...don't know, it was weird." way to go Laxus now you sound stupid. Man up for Mavis sake. Great now I sound like Elfman.

"What happened?" Bixlow asked sounding like he was half interested and half not.

"She winked at me. Is that normal?"

"Way to go Laxus! You're the best!" Freed cheered. Okay he either had a crush on me or is incredibly supportive or everything I do.

"Maybe she was just being polite?" Bixlow suggest, once again not really engaging in the conversation.

"That's what I thought." I looked at Bixlow to see that he was looking else where, I followed his eyeline focus and saw him staring at Lisanna. Does he like her? I whacked him round the head to get his attention.
