Chapter 14: Smart idea

"Sophie you're here!" Phoebe says enthusiastically. "Emily's going to be alright it's just a small hippogriff bite, nothing that can't be taken care of. She'll just have to stay in the hospital wing for a day or so."
"I still can't believe we didn't notice her! I was too busy staring at draco." Talia wails.
"I STILL don't know what you see in him Talia." A girl with brown hair and a book in her grasp says what everyone else is thinking.
"This is Ella by the way, Sophie. If i'm correct you haven't met her yet? Her and i will be in your History of Magic class next lesson!" Phoebe tells me. "Oh that's great! where's Nuala and Katie by the way?" I ask.
"Katie has gone to see dumbledore about something i think but none of us have any clue where Nuala is." Talia tells me.

The bell rings and everyone departs Emily's hospital bed swiftly to arrive to their next lesson but Abby sticks close by me. "Hey Sophie?" Abby asks.
"yeah?"
"what did hagrid say to you back there?"
"Oh well he wants me for extra tutoring but i really don't want to go and i have no idea how i'm going to get out of it."
"ugh i'm soooo jealous of you. If you ever needed me to like take your place then just ask i'll be there!"
Abby and i head off into our opposite directions as i go to my history of magic lesson and think about what she's just said...

"Hey sophie!" Ella wakes me up. "You've been asleep for fifteen minutes now, did you get any sleep last night?"
"No i didn't unfortunately." I say.
"Oh that's probably because you were nervous about your first day. Hopefully you get more sleep tonight." Phoebe replies.
"Yeah it was either that or my big fat juicy sexy dream i had about being railed against the wall by snape with handcuffs on wrist and sweat dripping down his oiled up body ready for me to slip and slide on him." I giggle.
"Haha yeah that sounds reasonable!" Ella laughs.

Thirty more minutes pass in this mind numbingly boring lesson and i decide to pop the question to phoebe. "Phoebe?" I ask. "Do you know how i could get out of this extra tutoring i have with Hagrid? Im desperate so i'll do any ideas you have."
"Well you could find someone who would replace you? But i'm not sure how you'd do that without him noticing. I'm sorry i have no idea but i'll think of some. It's a really complex thing to do and i've never heard of someone pulling it off before so the chances are incredibly slim but you may be able to do it."
"Oh just use a poly juice potion!" Ella chimes in. "Huh?!" Phoebe and i say in unison.
"It's easy, whoever drinks it will look like you for a few hours, ive been reading up on it in herbology, ill find out more and tell you tomorrow!"
"Thank you so much!" I exclaim.
Perfect, now i have a way to get myself out of that situation and abby into it. Now all i need is to get the potion...
