"Do you truly want this back?" Lu Ping asked gently. "After all, merely having had the token in the first place is as good as a death sentence."
"And I am sure that you would know, huh?" The man spat out, angry. He was angry that this boy thought that he was better than him! Of course, none were, and that was why he was mostly angry in the first place. This boy was likely homeless or a wanderer, how could he possibly be better than him?
"Actually, I would," Lu Ping said, his head tilting slightly to the left, a small smirk playing on his lips. His eyes glinted darkly, just barely hinting to the danger which swirled in them. Lu Ping found this just a little bit amusing. The other clearly had no idea the danger of such a token. However, that was not what Lu Ping was worried about, not that he could dwell on the worry. Yet, this was a token of the Mountain and Sea Gang. They would not take lightly to their token having gone missing. They would return to look for it, and he was worried why the other had this in the first place.
"How did you get this?" Lu Ping asked, holding it up, only to jump backwards lightly and effortlessly as the man reached out to try and snatch it from him. "How?"
"Took it off some guy. Not that it matters much." Lu Ping inhaled shortly.
He took it off someone? Which meant that could lead to two things. That person clearly had not been killed by the Mountain and Sea gang because they would have taken the token as well, meaning that whoever it was that this man had taken the token from was a member of the mountain and sea gang which meant that they were nearby. He was not entirely certain that he wanted to know why they were nearby. He knew that he had been incredibly careful not to allow any mention of him escape anywhere, which meant that they were here on business other than him and he would need to be incredibly careful how he proceeded the next few days.
"You.." Lu Ping took a deep breath. "You fool. You clearly have no idea the danger which this holds to you, to everyone who stands near you, everyone who have ever come into contact with." Lu Ping moved forwards, eyes flashing in his anger. "You took this token? You should have burned it beyond repair."
Lu Ping turned, to leave. He needed to calm himself before he did something that he would regret. He needed to keep control over himself, but that was proving harder and harder with the realization that the Mountain and Sea gang was in the city. Not that they were after him, this time, because they did not know where he was, but it grated on his nerves all the same.
It was not to be, however, as he sensed the moment the man's feet left the floor to strike out at him. He closed his eyes in frustration. Anger rose within him. This stupid man wanted this token for no reason than a token of his ability. Or probably because he thought it pretty. He had no idea the danger which it held, the insolent fool.
In seconds Lu Ping sent the other flying. Eyes red as blood.
The man paused. Slightly surprised, though the man supposed he should have supposed the other had some sort of Martial ability, given how confident he was. He had the ability of strength. Something which he had yet to master. No matter. He would find a way around that. When the other turned to walk away again, was when he struck. It was not to be, however, as the other had clearly noticed his coming and grabbed his arm before he could land the strike, shoving him into a tree, his eyes as bright as molten gold.
Had this stranger also mastered the ability of sound? No matter. He would not allow this man to take his possessions. He could work with this. He moved again, but before he could actually land a blow, the man was gone again, this time his eyes the brightest blue.
This...this stranger mastered three? Three martial abilities? Strength, Sound, and Energy? No matter. No matter. The man was beginning to worry, however.
In quick succession of the fight, this stranger's eyes had turned Red, for strength, blue, for sight, gold, for sound, green, for pivot, and even teal, for energy.
When the girl started fighting with them, they were both quick to realize that this stranger was not an ordinary man. He had clearly mastered all six senses, once his eyes turned purple, stripping them of all there senses. The man, laying heaving on the floor, the girl in the other leaning against a tree, breath coming in puffs. Lu Ping strode to the other.
"You mastered all six. None can master all six. What monster are you?" The other asked, his eyes wild with fear.
"Right, I am a monster. Allow me to keep you from becoming the same." He said softly, eyes turning purple as he stripped the other of his memory. It was rather easy, he had not defenses against mind martial ability. It was a rather rare ability, after all. The man slumped, as he fell, sleeping.
Lu Ping turned, But before he could truly disappear, the girl called out to him. "Who are you? Why are you helping the Mountain and Sea gang." Lu Ping turned to her, and scoffed.
"Helping? Helping?"
"The token?"
"Oh, you mean the one that fool decided was lovely idea to ransack from a body?" Lu Ping shook his head. "No, He will be lucky if they don't come after him, even though he no longer has it." Lu Ping closed his eyes, willing the memories to stop. "The Mountain and Sea Gang take no survivors. Let us hope they do not know it was him who took it. Else he will pay, and he will pay with his life." He turned and walked off, taking flight through the trees.
He collapsed in his room, head bowed, body shaking slightly. Fear flooding him as tears began to fill his eyes. The Mountain and Sea gang were somewhere near. Somewhere close, and yet what could he do? He had nowhere else to go, and he was not stupid enough to try and leave, not yet, not with them in the city. He inhaled shakily. He could do this. He had to stay here. Stay calm.
He had to.
