Brightkit paced the hard stone ground of the den as he flicked his tail nervously behind him, his ears pinned slightly as he kept his gaze to the ground. His mother wasn't that far from him, she was watching from her bed with Pride and worry in her orange colored eyes. "Brightkit it'll be okay, if you keep walking like that your fur will get messed up." Brightkit stopped suddenly in his tracks, not wanting to upset his mother and sat down where he was instead, curling his tail around his paws in nervous worry. "But mom! So many things can go wrong!" The small grey tabby kit mewed back, his brown gaze meeting his mother's. "Nonsense! You're a kit of Echoclan Brightkit, we've all had our worries and problems but never in my life as a Warrior have I seen anything go wrong during a ceremony! Now listen my dear, go outside and talk to Honeykit and Scatteredkit, it's not good to be worried." Windyrain stood up and nudged her kit gently with her white muzzle, scooting him closer to the exit of the nursery despite his small protests. "But!-"

"No buts Brightkit. Now go! But don't forget to behave yourself." Brightkit sighed and stood up, giving his mother a nod before looking around for his friends. It was almost sunhigh by the looks of it, the bright glowing orb of the sun beaming down onto Echoclan camp through small rays because of the protective tree canopy above them. Brightkit could spot Scarpounce and Dappledflight sitting together by the den sharing tongues, Foxcrown was by the prey pile taking a small woodland mouse to the elders, Shadedew was talking with Whiteclaw, Lilacfeather, and Rowanberry by the entrance to the Warriors sleeping den. Drizzletail was nowhere to be seen, most likely out fetching some herbs or in his medicine den. Owlkit was sitting by his mother Brownhail, tail curled around his paws. Brightkit didn't hear the sound of approaching paw steps though. "Brriiiiiiiiightkiiiiit!" A golden colored tabby kitten pounced atop of Brightkit, wrestling him to the ground as the two took a small stumble. "Honeykit! That's not nice!" Scatteredkit bounded towards them, a small red flower on her ear as she looked at the two with dismay. "Get off of him! You just ate and you're probably fat!" Scatteredkit hissed, pulling Honeykit off Brightkit by the scruff of his neck. "I'm not that fat! At least I don't have 10 pounds of fluff!" Honeykit shot back, a scowl shot at Scatteredkit as she let go of him and licked her paw. "Alright break it up!" Brightkit stepped in between them, sitting down and turning his brown gaze from Honeykit to Scatteredkit. "It's almost time to become apprentices and you're already getting your fur in a knot!" Scatteredkit stopped and looked at Brightkit with sorry in her gaze. With a sigh she stood and walked over to Honeykit, murmuring a small sorry to him. "It's fine, but, uh, sorry I guess." Honeykit mewed back, ears flattered to the side as he looked at Scatteredkit. "Drizzletail is back!" Foxcrown meowed, a few heads turning to look at the approaching white tom from the forest, his icy blue eyes standing out from the brown face-mask marking. "Has the ceremony started yet?" The tom asked, walking towards his medicine den, Foxcrown next to him as she shook her head. "Nope, but now that you're here it could start any minute."

"Love birds..." Honeykit murmured, watching them disappear into the medicine den. "You know Medicine cats aren't allowed to have kits right?" Brightkit said nervously from his spot, kneading the ground with his front paws with nervousness. "I know that mousebrain! It was a joke." Honeykit said playfully, laughing as he nudged Brightkit with his shoulder. "Oh, sorry." Scatteredkit rolled her eyes, walking past them to groom herself in one of the few suns rays that could make it through the tree's canopy. "All cats old enough to leap the fallen rock please join here beneath the Blue Grove for a clan meeting. " Slowly, all cats started making their way swiftly to the Blue Grove, a tall rock ledge that was hanging over a pond dotted with lily-pads and flower petals, vines were hanging down from the sides of the rock ledge, making a kind of curtain. At the back of the pond was the Leader's Den where Lunastar slept. That said, the silvery she-cat was sitting on top of the Blue Grove with Shadedew at her side. Brightkit shot a nervous look at Scatteredkit and Honeykit, the two having mixed expressions. Scatteredkit was nervous but was excited, while Honeykit kept a neutral look, gently nudging Brightkit towards the Blue Grove. "Hurry up!" Honeykit mewed impatiently, trotting towards the meeting place where the rest of Echoclan was already gathered except for Drizzletail who had yet to make his way over. Eventually, everyone was here and Lunastar could continue on.

"Honeykit, Scatteredkit, and Brightkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Honeypaw, Scatteredpaw, and Brightpaw. May Starclan watch over you with pride and wisdom." Scatteredpaw was shuffling a little bit, excitement in her eyes. Honeypaw gave Brightpaw a reassuring look, easing down his nervousness a little bit. "Whiteclaw, you have only been a warrior for 2 moons but you are smart and know how to think on your feet. I trust you to mentor Honeypaw well." Honeypaw stood up, his dark golden coat brighter in shade in the sunlight as he stepped up to meet Whiteclaw, the white colored tom giving Honeypaw a nervous smile. Sucking in a small breath, Honeypaw touched noses with his mentor, sitting down next to him afterwards. Lunastar smiled at them before continuing, straightening up her posture. "Dappledflight, you have mentored Scarpounce and Lilacfeather into the wonderful warriors they are today, I hope you accept one last apprentice and pass on your quick wits and strength of heart to Scatteredpaw." Dappledflight have a small surprised look, the grey leopard tom standing and walking over to meet Scatteredpaw, touching her nose gently before murmuring a 'thank you' to her and sitting down. Scatteredpaw gave him a confused look, but didn't want to question it at the moment. "Lastly, Foxcrown, you are graceful, kind, and a very refined warrior, I trust you to be able to mentor Brightpaw through his apprenticeship well." Foxcrown stood up, walking over to a nervous looking Brightpaw as she touched his nose gently, sitting down next to him. "I would love to thank everyone present for being here to behold the new birth of strong, wise, and honorable apprentices, and the cats above us in Starclan for blessing us with new apprentices. With that happy note, Clan dismissed." Honeypaw looked excited as he sat down next to his new mentor, Whiteclaw looking a little uneasy about his first apprentice but determined. "What are we doing first?" Honeypaw asked, looking up at the white tom expectantly. "Let's start with a little bit of battle practice, while it is good to know how to take care of your apprentice duties it's also good for you to know how to properly defend yourself in case of a clan attack." Honeypaw nodded, looking over as Scatteredpaw, Brightpaw, Dappledflight, and Foxcrown walked over to them. "Battle training are you? Let's go with them." Foxcrown said, looking down at Brightpaw. Brightpaw nodded slightly, nervously looking around. "You four have fun, I'm going to show Scatteredpaw the way around our territory." Brightpaw said a quick goodbye to Scatteredpaw as she quickly followed after Dappledflight, the two's matching grey pelts blending in with the shade. "Are you ready to go?" Foxcrown asked, the red she-cat looking down at Brightpaw with her amber gaze. "Y-yeah." Brightpaw mewed back, quickly following after Foxcrown. "Let's go." Whiteclaw said, following after Foxcrown with Honeypaw right on his heels

A/N-Alright! First chapter out! This is a bit on Brightstar's story from kithood to the last of his nine lives. Next chapter will focus on Gloryfall before she became a clan cat. It's been a little while since I have read one of the warriors books so oops lmao. Not proud of this chapter, but I had fun describing the Blue Grove and some of the warriors here. If you'd like I can post a updated rank thing for the Clans for each chapter if you'd like? I have it all written down in Google Docs so it wouldn't be too much trouble. Anyways! Love ya'll, bye! <3
