The Lunch Club

Cooper's POV

10:00am

I was sitting in English class fucking around with Schlatt and Ted, just two out of the many people I'm glad to call my best friends. "Oh yeah Cooper, I wanted to ask you about that girl you were talking to in the parking lot. She's super hot. And that car.. that fucking whip could make a grown man cry." Schlatt says. "Yeah I've gone to school with her as long as I can remember but I've never really talked to her before. I asked her to come sit with us at lunch though." I reply. In elementary school she was kinda weird, she'd rather sit alone and read than play with us at recess, and she mostly kept to herself. Now that I think of it she is seriously stunning. We continued messing around and passing each other notes until the bell rang for lunch. I was actually really excited to find out more about her, she seems pretty bad ass.

11:30am

The bell rang and I made my way to the lunch room from biology class on the third floor. I walked over to the big group of boys that took up almost two lunch tables and took a seat next to a tall guy with brown fluffy hair. "Hi y/n! I'm Johnathan but they call me Schlatt, and way too many other things. Coopie told us all about you!" he said as he shook my hand. "Shut up you twat." Cooper whispered defensively. "Nice to meet you Schlatt." I replied. I sat down next to Cooper and one by one I was introduced to the boys who called themselves the "Lunch Club".

The club consisted of seven boys named Josh, Charlie, Cooper, Ted, Travis, Schlatt, and Noah. I opened my lunchbox, took out my bagel and started to eat. "Hey y/n, I know you said you skate but do you have any other interests?" Cooper asked. "Yeah I really like RPG and FPS style games, reading, music and cars." "That's actually so cool, so you like COD, CS:GO and Siege?" Mason says. "Yes I do, what kinds of games do you guys play? I'm gonna go ahead and assume you're gamers based solely on the fact that Charlie's laptop case says 'so yeah, I'm a gamer'." Everyone began to laugh and we continued to talk about our favourite games.

I couldn't help but smile. I really like these guys and I think they're starting to like me. We traded numbers, social media and they even added me to their discord server. As soon as we began talking about Minecraft, the bell rang indicating lunch was over and we had five minutes to get to our next class.

Cooper offered to walk me to calculus because he had a free period. I grabbed my things from my locker and we made our way over to the math hall. "Have fun in calc y/n, I'll call you later if you're not busy. Just let me know." "Thanks Cooper and totally, I'll text you after school. As he walked away I went into class and found a seat.

Cooper's POV

12:36pm

I walked away from the math hall and went to the bathroom to vape. We weren't exactly allowed to but no one ever snitched. As I walk in I see Ted and Moses vaping in the handicapped stall with the door open. "Y'all ain't slick." I say smirking. "Oh, thank fuck it's you Cooper you scared the hell out of me," Moses says. We sit there for a bit talking and Juuling until the bell rings.

Ted, Moses and I made our way to the last period of the day: Psychology. All throughout psych I was sending memes back and fourth with y/n because she had a free period meaning she goes home early.

I really don't know why but I just cannot stop thinking about this girl. She's always been there but I've never even talked to her until today and I feel so bad. She's actually dope as hell and she SKATES?!

I talk to Ted and Moses for a bit and try to listen to the teacher as best I can, but I'm seriously having trouble paying attention because I keep thinking about FaceTiming the cutest girl I've ever laid eyes on. Hopefully I can keep my cool while I'm talking to her later. The bell rings and I run to my locker, grab my shit and skate home as fast as I can.
