Lucia POV

I woke up from my slumber to hearing loud comotion downstairs. I snuggled onto Joonie and Val trying to get back to sleep. They wanted to sleep with me for the night and was happy to let them and had Joonie and Val next to each other and I next to Joonie which they were on my left side on the big king bed.

"Mommy people are being to loud" My little girl said beside me groggily. I sighed and softly rubbed my eyes.

"Yeah I know, it's okay, just go back to sleep okay baby? I'll be right back" I tell her I moved over to the right side of the bed carefully not to wake up Joonie by my movement. I slowly moved out of the bed and grabbed my robe that hung loosely on a rack and went to the top drawer of the closet to get my gun just in case. I placed it on the band of the thigh holster where I always keep my gun or dagger. I looked back at my kids before leaving the room, Val was slowly drifting to sleep making me then to get out of the big room quietly.

I made my way walking down the hall and went downstairs, hugging my robe close to me as my bare feet softly walked the cold marble floor. I walked into the living room too see a woman pointing her gun at Massimo making me instantly pull out mine from the holster and quickly too of the safety, with a loud click being heard causing both to look at me.

"It's okay mi reina , put the gun down, she won't do anything to me" Massimo said calmly as he looked at me and then saw what I was wearing as his eyes raked my body. All I wore was a pink satin night gown which did make my light tan skin pop out a bit more but it seemed to have a effect to him. I then put the gun down and put on the safety again as I placed it on my thigh holster. The woman instantly pointed the gun in my direction causing me to raise my brow at her frightened face.

"Okay now, you put down the gun or this will be stop being funny" Massimo said darkly, now he was mad. I now knew that the woman in front me was the infamous Laura who Massimo's been obessing over.

"Better do what he says sweetheart" I said mockingly and in a quick second Massimo has Laura pinned on the wall post roughly, his hand grabbing her throat and and the other grabbed a hold of the gun. Seeing Massimo being rough to others is honestly a big turn on to me.

"Do you really wanna kill me? Many have tried, it's not that easy" Massimo said as I noticed two familar figures walk through the large door. I looked over at Domenico and Franciso and smiled at them. Domenico whisltled at me making me chuckle as he looked over at what I was wearing.

"Excuse me, there's been a delivery that you need to sign" Franciso said in italian making Massimo pull away from Laura. He looked over at me with a longily.

"Take her to her room" Massimo tells me making me frown.

"I want to help" I tell him but he shook his head.

"Just take her to her room please, just to this one simple task. You can join the other ones later just not for tonight, you still need some rest" He tells calmly and I sighed knowing to well not to argue when I'm tired.

"Alright then good night boys" I say as Mario and Domenico walk out the door leaving Massimo, Laura and I. Massimo walked over to be, bringing one hand cupping my face and the other wrapped around my waist placing a sweet kiss on my lips making me smile. We then pulled away," You're sweet little Laura is in safe hands, now go babe, you got work to do as I need to finish this little task of yours and then sleep"

"You're the best mia cara" He said lovingly making me smile tiredly as I looked up at him. "Goodnight"

"Of course I am, good night" I manage to say smugly as I watched him walk away from me. I looked over at Laura who was still in the same position on the wall post making me roll my eyes at how stupid she looked. "You coming or not? I don't want to use any force on you"

With that I started walking and suddenly heard her pair of wedge heels clicking the floor making me smirk. We made our way to her room that Massimo had mentioned me today. It was in the same hall as mine, my kids and Massimo's room.

"H-how can you live with a monster and talk to him so normally?" She asked me as she looks at me.

"Got used it and I've known him for a while" I said bluntly as she sat on her bed nervously.

"H-he kidnapped me.. Why me? Aren't you h-his wife?" She asked making me laugh at her.

"Sweetie men like Massimo are different than any other man, he's a Mafia man, men like him are scary, fierce, possessive as hell and dominant in many things. They're the big Alphas of the underworld darling, although sometimes they think with their cocks but it is what it is. Men like him are very powerful and are capable of doing many things that no other would do. And I'm not his wife, I'm his partner in the business he does and his baby momma" I tell her leaning onto the door as she looked at me in horrid.

"That's just awful. I'm so sorry" She tells me in pity making me roll my eyes at her.

"There's nothing to be sorry for idiot. I'm fine, my children are fine, my family are fine so it's not bad. Look you'll get used to living in this life style of ours. But I strongly suggest that you obey him no matter what, you really don't want to face the wrath of Massimo. But you also don't want to face me when you step on the wrong line when it comes to me okay. Now go shower and get some rest, we'll be seeing each other a lot" I tell her with a small smile, a part of me pitied her but the other didn't really care. I closed the door but left it unlocked to test her if she stays or tries to escape.

I walked to my room and removed my robe, laying with my kids to get some shut eye. It wasn't long then when I felt a presence dip on the bed. I slowly opened my eyes to see Massimo shirtless in some sweatpants as he laid next to Val and pulled the covers over us making me softly smile at him as I snuggled to sleeping Joonie who let out cute little snores like his sister as I drifted back to sleep.
