It was training day and for some reason I felt excited. I wasn't too fond of staying here in the first place, but for some reason after getting to know my three new comrades, I don't feel too bad. I shot up from my bed, looking over at the journal that laid next to me. Yesterday wasn't a dream, he actually did something nice for once.

I chuckled as I turned over to Isabel who looked like she hadn't slept in years because of how deep of a sleep she was in. I lightly shook her awake and wiggled my brows as soon as she fluttered her eyes open. She giggled and sat up slowly.

"It's training day Isabel, we need to get up."

I said with a slight smile on my face.

She caught on and bolted out of bed and opened her wardrobe, rummaging through the drawers that were inside. She pulled out black and blue jeans along with two black button up shirts. She closed the drawers and opened a new one pulling out undergarnments and socks. Quickly closing that one she looked up at the very top and pulled out an extra pair of boots handing it to me along with the black jeans and top and undergarnments.

"Go shower, change, and then I'll help you with the belts."

I smiled and headed straight for the bathroom, not noticing Furlan's and Levi's shocked looks as I bolted past them into the bathroom.

I filled up the tub and slowly got in, despite of how excited I was, this always relaxed me. It felt good showering and not having to worry about someone sneaking up on you. I sighed and rested my neck on the brim of the tub as I scrubbed the nightmare from yesterday away, hoping they would reside with the new gift sunshine have me.

I smiled at the thought of nice Levi, it simply surprised me. I bet you he'll be his same old bright self when I walk out to eat breakfast, but I at least know the man can feel.

I quickly finished my buisness and got dressed. The pants fit me perfectly fine, however the shirt was a bit tight, it hugged my chest tightly and showed my slim waist. I felt a bit good about myself, but I also worried I would be looked at weirdly. I brushed my thoughts off as I placed the brown knee-high boots on my feet and headed out of the bathroom as I put my hair up into a pony tail, letting some curcled strands fall out in the front.

I sighed before looking back at Levi and Furlan who looked at me with a weird look. I raised a brow and headed over to them. As I approached they cleared their throats and sat down on the table, which they had been standing next to.

I chuckled and poured hot water into a small tea cup, placing a tea bag inside of it and heading over to where Levi and Furlan sat. We were quiet until Isabel came out of the bedroom, still in pj's. I smiled at her as she made her way over to the bathroom.

We all waited patiently for her to begin eating and drank our tea in a calm manner. Soon she bolted out of the bathroom and sat down next to me.

We began eating and soon chatter arrose for the first time. I wasn't too talkative, but seeing the other three act like a small little family reminded me of those kids. I took care of them even if some were older than me, but I guess sometimes those things don't last too long do they.

I felt the table grow quiet, making me look up at them.

"You okay Jo?

Isabel asked.

I smiled and nodded, taking a bite out of the bread.

"Keep talking, it's nice."

I said quietly.

I could tell they weren't expecting that from me, but continued how they were. I didn't like having a family, but seeing one always made my heart feel a little warm.

"What's your biggest wish Josephine?"

I heard Furlan ask.

I looked at them and thought about it before responding.

"I'm not sure, I guess to relive my good memories."

Furlan gave me a soft smile before turning to Isabel and asking the same.

"Well, I really wish big bro would smile, it always makes us happy when he does."

I smiled at her comment and sighed.

Levi clicked his tongue at her response and rolled his eyes softly, before setting his tea cup down.

"For me is for you brats to clean properly."

Isabel broke into eratic laughter, making me and Furlan join her for a bit.

We all calmed down and took deep breaths before Furlan said his wish.

"I just wish this never changes, us, our small little famly."

I smiled, even though I knew it was them three.

I stood up from the table and stretched.

"I'm gonna go figure out belt science now."

Furlan gave out a small chuckle before continuing his conversation with Levi, soon Isabel standing up and walking withme to the room.

We walked into the room and sh ebegan taking out a tangled mess of belts. She untangeled them and showed me which belt went in which place. I slowly slid my legs through the first part and then my arms, adjusting the tightness of the belt to my liking. When Isabel helped me do mines, she began doing hers until she stopped mid buckle and looked at me.

"Josephine what happened at the table? You left us for awhile and had a sad look on your face."

She said, voice full of concern.

"I was just remembering about something I held very dear to me, nothing much so don't stress."

I gave her a light smile, allowing her to continue buckling her belt.

"Isabel can I tell you something? Since you're the one I'm closest to here"

She kept on adjusting her belts as I looked for words to say.

When she finished she looked at me, giving me her full attention. As I parted my lips, ready to speak, there was a knock on the bedroom door, followed by Levi's voice.

"Oi, brats lets go."

I gave her a small nod and headed towards the door.

"Tell me later Jo, it's training time."

She smiled at me as she took lead and walked ahead of me.

------

We had been walking for awhile until we reached this practically empty street in the undergrounds.

Levi, who had been walking ahead of all of us, stopped in his tracks and turned around.

"Aider this is where we normally practice, as you can see, right now you don't have any gear on just the belts."

He took a breath in before continuing.

"I'll be teaching you how to attach the gear and then we can get into the real part of the training."

He turned away from me and towards Isabel and Furlan.

"You two know the drill, don't get yourselves killed."

Furlan chuckled at Levi's statement, but pulled one of the triggers on his handle sending hooks off, to be followed by a second trigger being pulled and him flying up into the sky, gas slowly following behind him.

I grew nervous as I realized what exactly this training was going to be, but I couldn't let my nerves take over me.

"Oi, you ready?"

I looked back at Levi who was holding my gear.

I nodded and raised my arms, allowing him to start latching and adjusting the gear.
