Beep, beep, beep... The continuous loop of high tone oscillations, but I don't notice it. I notice nothing around me, I feel nothing, its almost as if I'm daydreaming.
Then I slowly slip out of consciousness, and I can't feel, hear or see anything.
But we are always feeling, emotions are the strongest things in the world. And I feel sad, I feel alone.
I wake, all I see around me is black, as if I'm just in a darkened abyss. I feel so alone, so very, very alone.
I fall to my knees, feeling so weak, nauseated. The words repeat from my lips, "So alone... So very alone...", and I stare down, creating a long curtain of hair to cover my face.
Suddenly, on my knee, a cockroach appears and crawls up my thigh and stops, as if greeting me. I smile at it, and as I raise my hand to touch it, it skitters off.
As I look back down, I notice two more cockroaches in reflected positions on both my legs, by now I look confused by their sudden appearance.
I notice a tear in the ground, a small exposure of white, as if someone tore the edge of a page. I rip it open, but all I see is white.
For a few seconds, I stare at the white, mesmerised in all of its glory. Then it flashes black, with a massive boom.
"Huh? What is-" and before I could continue, a flood of cockroaches crawl towards me as if they were the black sheet covering the white room.
I try to shout out and move, but I seem to be frozen, I can only cry as I wait to be consumed by the disgusting shelled bugs.
A cockroach slowly crawls up to my left eye and stops, as if staring at me for a few seconds, then it crawls into my eye.
Then, I see, hear, and feel nothing again.
But we are always feeling, emotions are the strongest things in the world. And I feel sad, I feel alone.
Beep, beep, beep, and then the beeping stops.
