Tripp is driving down the street with Ivy and a few more people  in the back.

"Please, just let me go."

"I know thus may seem a little barbaric, but I promise you, it's nothing personal."

"Why are you doing this?"

"That's a longer story than we have time for, but trust me... You don't want this life. If you can even call it that." He then turned on the radio. Ivy kept on pulling at the chains

"Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on, come on, come on." Tripp past the welcome to Mystic Falls sign and a vampire next to her started coughing up blood. "What is that? What is that?! What is happening?" She looked at the other guy and he was shot in the head. She screamed then her neck snapped.

"I missed you too, buddy." Damon says to Stefan as they continued to hug each other.

"I can't believe it. I thought you were gone." They pulled apart.

"Well, you didn't think I was "gone" gone, huh? I promised you an eternity of misery."

"Hes back?" Elena asks Caroline. "How? Does Amanda know?"

"I don't she does. I don't know. Honestly, everything Stefan said after Damon's back is kind of a blur."

"What about Bonnie?"

"She sacrificed herself so I could come back. I dont Want anyone to know. No sense making this harder than it already is."

"What are we gonna tell people?"

"Where is there exactly?"

"Mystic Falls, 1994?" Stefan asks Damon

"I know. If witches were gonna get together and create some space time purgatory... You think they'd pick a better year than Kurt Cobain killed himself. The whole thing was just very depressing."

"So how did you get back?"

"Long story. Big flash of light, two decades worth of jet lag. I will explain my adventures in that flannel hellscape... But first there's someone I gotta go see."
