Chapter Eleven

"We are going to execute him" Cassandra said in front of everyone in the church. Olivia and Allie looked at Cassandra shocked and then they looked at each other.

"Did you know that?" Olivia whisperer to Allie and she shakes her head as an answer.

"Violence will be punished with death" Cassandra said with a serious look in her face. "I hope that what Dewey did served as an example for all of you"

"You should have told us" Olivia said following Cassandra.

"If had told you, wouldn't you have judged me?" Cassandra asked the brunette looking at her straight in the eyes.

"Of course not" Olivia said "You are my sister, I agreed to support you in any decision you take" she said takig her sisters hands "And this one is not different"

"I'm sorry" Cassandra said giving her sister a hug.

"Don't worry" The small brunette answered hugging her back. "Yoh have to trust us more"

"Please" Dewey screamed from the chair he was sitting. "I regret everything I did and everything I said" he said desperately starting to cry. "Please give me a second chance"

"Are we really doing this?" Grizz asked the three boys taking his gun weirdly.

"Yes, guys come on" Luke tried to convince them but he didn't seem sure himself.

The four jocks were ready to shoot but something went wrong.

"Sorry, sorry" Jason said "I failed"
Grizz gave a step back and threw up.

"Hey,  I'm really sorry but I can't do this" He said putting the gun in the ground and running close to Olivia to hug her.

"Shh" she calmed him sweetly "It's okay Grizzy, everything will be okay" she said softly caring him.

"I'll do it" Allie said taking the gun Grizz put on the floor few minutes ago.

"On the court of three" Allie said "One... Two..." Grizz hides his face in Olivia's chest and she closes her eyes hugging Grizz tight. "And three" Allie said and a gunshot rang out. Dewey was dead.

The next few hours were very uncomfortable. No one talked.

"I'm going to my room" Olivia said getting up from the couch "I'm a bit tired, I think I should go to sleep" she said trying to smile "Good night" She said.

"Good night" everyone answers almost at the exact same time.

She heard a knock on her door few minutes later. "Come in" she said. The door opened and Grizz entered the room. "Hey Grizzy" she said moving a bit letting him space to lay by her side.

Grizz didn't think about that twice. He layed next to Olivia and wrapped his strong arms around the brunette and tears started to fall down his red cheeks.

"Am I a coward?" Grizz asked Olivia.

"What? Baby of course not" she said in a kind tone "You have to be really brave to do what you just have done. Not letting others choose what you have to do is a very brave thing to do"

"Would you still be with me if I had shot Dewey?" He asked again wrapping the tears that were falling down his cheek.

"Of course I'll still be with you" She said giving his a sweet smile "because I love you" that three words made Grizz look at Olivia.

"You love me?" He asked her and she nodded in response. He moved his face closer to Olivia's "I love you too" He whisperered a few centimetre away from Olivia's lips and softly kissed her.

"What about celebrating Thanksgiving together?" Becca asked "Like everyone at the church with homemade food saying what we are thankful about" that made a smile groe in Olivia's face.

"That would be nice" she said looking at Becca.

"Yeah, and a nice way to say goodbye to the guys who are going to the expedition with you, Grizz" Cassandra said.

"Wait, what expedition?" Olivia asked.

"Oh, right, I'm organising an expedition to the wood. We need lands for farming and food, and maybe we could foud it out there" Grizz explained.

"And were do I have to sign up to go wit you?" Olivia curiously asked.

"Baby, I'm afraid that this time you won't come with me" He answered looking at the ground.

"I think we all should leave" Clarke said and everyone agreed.

"Why don't you want me to go with you?" Olivia said disappointed.

"Live it's not tha I don't want you to come" Grizz said sitting closer to her and taking her hand. "It's that we don't know what's out there and it can be dangerous. I just don't want to lose you"

"Cassandra told you that, right? Because you are starting to talk just like her" she said seriously looking at he boy in front of her "When will you two realise tha I can take care of myself? I'm not a little girl anymore" she said getting up from her sit angrily

"Live, we just want to protect you" Grizz said calmly trying to calm Olivia down.

"Bullshit" she said shaking her head and going up to her room.

"I'll go and talk to her, don't worry" Helena told Gizz.

Helena knocked Olivia's door. "He Olivia, can I talk to you for a second?" she said.

"Come in" Olivia answered and Helena sat in her bed next to Olivia.

"You are here to talk about Cassandra and Grizzy, right?" She asked and Helena nodded. "I made a huge mistake, right?" Helena nodded again, this time smiling. "Fuck" Olivia said shaking her head. "They deserve an apology"

"Yes, they do" Helena replyed "Have I told you how cute it is when you call Grizz "Grizzy"?" Olivia blushed and looked at the ground "I knew you two were going to end up together" Olivia looked at Helena shooked.

"How did you know that?" Olivia asked making Helena giggle.

"Grizz had a big crush on you since ninth grade. He always told me about you, like "Have you seen how cute Olivia looks today?" or "I saw Olivia reading Hamlet at the library, isn't she perfect?" So I started to pay attention to you, and I saw how you looked at him. I knew you had a crush on him too" Helena told Olivia "I started to analyse you and I saw you two were perfect for each other, and I'm so happy it finally happened" Helena smiled at Olivia.

Hello my pretty readers, guess who's inspired at 2.am again. Me, who else. Anyways, today's chapter is longer, as I promised and quite intense.

I have to tell you that I decided to kill Cassandra. I gave her more time and I couldn't stand it anymore so I have an opportunity now, in thanksgiving.
