Chapter 10: Training Hard

" Ok first off nice to meet all of you. My name is not Luke it is Lucas" I said "wait then why did you say that your name is Luke back at class?" Clara questioned " Mike I need you to look up Lucas in the school archives." I ordered "ok" he said as his hands started typing on the high tech computer. After a minuet he gasped. Everyone else gathered around the computer screen. All except Elizabeth who already knew what I was. "Whoa" Clara spoke with amazement " the reason why I will not keep this from you is because you guys would not trust me if I did not tell you now." I said "wow and I thought I had it rough." Clara exclaimed "it's a hard life you have man" Elizabeth said with patting my back. "Anyway Clara can you train everyone here in martial arts?" I questioned "sure anything for my friends" she chipped happily. "But first Clara you will spar with me first." We went outside and into the forest where we found a clearing, "why did you drag is into the forest?" Mike questioned " the reason why is because I don't want people to know about my....abilities and my past." I said "that makes sense because if people found out about your past and powers they would try to capture you. Or try to kill you." Elizabeth said "ok Clara let's see what you got and yea you can use your powers. I won't." I inquired "really that kind of unfair" Clara huffed "you would be surprise at what Lucas can do" Elizabeth said defensively. I put up my defense "I'll go easy on her." I thought She launched a kick at me I ducked and used her momentum to swing here around. I threw her into the trees she came running back and threw a barrage of punches and kicks. I blocked them all and decided to end this. I grabbed her hand and flipped her on her back and put my hand on her throat. " Wow you are good" Clara said surprise "yeah way to go!" Mike said with amazement "it would be an honor to have you train me Lucas" Clara said. "Ok I will if you train everyone else" I inquired "deal" she said as we shook hands and with that we started to train. Over the course of weeks they became stronger and stronger until a battle games were held. This must have been new because it was not in when I was last there. It was against our rival school the one that tried to request me to join which meant that they were going to be strong. The principal called an assembly to discuss the rules with all of us. "Any powers are allowed, no cheating, if the other team knocks the teams captain or they beg for mercy the other team wins. If everyone is defeated the other team wins. We count points so by the end of the game who ever has the most wins get to get more money to keep the school alive." She spoke she lead all of us outside the school and into the forest. About a mile away there was a big glass dome with two castles on ether side. Then I saw them the were spoiled brats the who used their power for mischievous. I hated them on site, the leader had white hair, and blue eyes that stood out. There was they guy in the suit who I had sent flying in the woods. He looked 60 years old and he still wore a tux. There was a coin toss to decide who would get to choose first on who to battle. As the coin was in the air I saw the leader use something to make the coin land on their call. That made me mad with my blood rushing I said "you little punk you cheated!!" I yelled "oh really?" He sneered with grin "you can't prove that. Besides your a sidekick you don't get to tell me what to do. For that my team and I will battle with you." He said "bring it" I said biting back a growl. I saw the guy I had punched a couple years ago speak with him. "You stupid little boy! Do you know who that his he is the guy who broke my beautiful face five years ago you stand no chance against him. You are going to cheat ok." He said the the leader. He nodded out of fear and left him. Our battle was last for some reason. After hours of battling we were tied with them. "Ok listen these guy will cheat no matter what so Mike I will need you to hack into their school data base and pull up their profiles." I ordered Mike typed on his laptop that he brought everywhere. On a moment their profiles were up. The leaders name is Billy and he can use superspeed, one of them was a fire type. The other was a super strength. The final one was a lightning type."Ok Clara you will take super strength. Elizabeth you will take the hot head try to sneak around him and take him by surprise. Mike you will take thunder head use the secret weapon that you developed. I will take speedy. Are you guys ready for this!" I asked they nodded their heads ready for action. We stepped on a platform that led us down to the arena. I knew they were going to cheat but I did not know how far they would go. The two head of the schools were watching this from a viewing point. They had cameras everywhere. Also the board of directors were here to give the winners the prize money. The whistle blew and the game began.
