Chapter Five

Instead of thinking rationally, which I really never did anyhow, I rode on the back of Michael's bike to where David wanted us to go. When we got there, I seen that they had pretty much lived in a cave, well, at least that's what it looked like on the outside. I stepped off of Michael's bike, only for David to make his way over to us. He offered me his arm, in which I did wrap my arm around his. He led us down into the entrance, where I was surprised to see a pretty awesome set-up inside.

"Use to be a hotel, they set it on a fault line though. One earth quake and it was buried down here for us." David informed, as his guys ran around inside of the cave.

He motioned for Michael and I to have a seat, before he sent two of his boys out to get food. Honestly, I thought he seemed a bit pushy and bossy towards them but they could be rambunctious and loud if he wasn't this way towards them for all I know. Anyhow, I wantched as Michael practically followed Star's every move with his eyes. I internally groaned, wishing to yell at him to be more discrete, especially around the boys with Star. I knew these people weren't the best to be around but really neither was I, so I really couldn't judge them at all.

"So, Rosalie, you're new here right? I've never seen you around the boardwalk before." Paul asked, causing me to nod.

"Yes, just moved here today." I replied, causing him to smirk.

"What made you move here of all places?" He rasped, causing me to shake my head.

"I had to get away from home, away from my mother. So, I thought, why not move in with Michael's family? I mean, his mom treats me like her own, doesn't isolate me from the world just for who my father is." I answered, causing David to look at me with an unreadable emotion on his face.

"Why'd your mother isolate you? Who's your father?" He asked, causing me to shake my head.

"Well, my mother thought I'd turn out to be just like my father. I hated her for isolating me from the world, keeping me from my father, though she knew just how dangerous it was for her to keep me away from him. To answer your last question, my father is Ted Bundy." I said, causing his and Paul's face to show surprise.

"Well, Miss Bundy, you'll fit in around here just fine." David commented, before his two guys came back.

They walked in with takeout boxes of Chinese, which I really wasn't that fond of. I was a rather picky eater, so I definitely was not going to be eating the Chinese they brought back with them. Marko began to hand stuff out, sticking his hand out to give me beef fried rice.

"No thanks, I'm not really hungry. I ate on the way to Michael's." I said, causing Marko to shrug.

"That was hours ago." Michael murmured, as he moved his head close to my ear.

I watched as David glared at Michael for a moment, before a smirk made its way on to his face.

"I'm not hungry, Mikey. Just deal with it." I retorted, as David watched us with a humored look on his face.

"How are those maggots, Michael?" David asked, causing Michael to look up at him confused.

"What?" Michael asked, causing all the guys to chuckle.

"Maggots. You're eating maggots, Michael." David said, causing Michael to spit out his food and drop the box on to the ground.

Star scolded David, causing David to smirk again as he offered Michael another box.

"It's worms." Michael murmured, as he pushed the box back towards David.

"They're only noodles, Michael." David said, as he placed a couple in his mouth.

A couple moments later, David motioned for Paul to come closer to him, before whispering something in Paul's ear. Paul grinned, before running off. David stared at Michael and I for a moment, before Paul came back with a bottle that had jewels encrusted all over the sides. The bottle looked pretty old as well. He took a drink out of the bottle, before passing it to Michael.

"Be one of us Michael." David taunted, as Michael looked at the bottle.

"Don't do it. It's blood." Star whimpered, causing me to roll my eyes.

Once Michael took a drink of the bottle, David took it from him, before placing it in mine.

"Drink up, Miss Bundy. Join us." David said, as I looked down at the bottle.

Almost like David's words put me into a trance, I put the bottle to my lips and took a drink. Honestly, the liquid inside had a metallic taste to it, almost like blood did, but I shook it off, thinking Star was crazy. After I took a drink, the boys cheered and began to celebrate. David smiled at me, as he took my hand in his and kissed the top of my hand.

"Initiation time!" David exclaimed, before we the guys, Michael and I were on the bikes again.

We left Star and Laddie at the cave, deciding they weren't going to be part of it with us. Soon we pulled up at train tracks that were on a bridge, before the guys jumped down. Michael freaked out and looked over the side, as we heard them calling our names. So, being as brave and daring as I am, I swung down by them, ending up next to David. Michael slowly climbed down, fear written all over his face.

"Here comes the fun part." Marko said, before we heard a train coming.

As the train went over the tracks, everyone held on to the pipes. Dwayne and Marko were head banging, before they dropped. I held a look of surprise on my face, though I didn't really make any noise. I watched at Paul went next, before David turned to us.

"Let go. Join us." David said, making me feel like I should listen to him.

So I let go, hearing Michael scream my name, before I felt like I was floating. I landed next to Dwayne, who laughed with a grin on his face, before we high fived. Soon David came down, before everyone called for Michael. Once Michael fell, that was all I could remember...
