A Sophitz Dream

Chapter 27

Sophie's POV

"What do you mean?  Of course, I'm still gonna marry you!"  Fitz took me in his lap and put his arm around me.

I blew a sigh of relief when another thought came to me, "But if we're already fighting now, what's gonna happen after we're married?"

"C'mon Soph, it was a misunderstanding, and I'm sorry for not trusting you enough okay?  You're my cognate."

And we left the topic there.  We had to leave the sleepover today evening, and it was already 2:00.  Hand in hand, we walked to the living room where we jumped apart after seeing our friends in a circle.

"Truth or dare Tam?"

"Truth."

Biana smirked, "How long have you like me?"

Rolling his eyes and blushing Tam replied the moment we all met on that hill.  "Oooh, Bangs boy LOVES someone!!!" Do I really need to write who said that?

And at that very moment, Fitz walked out with a face of relief that then changed into worry when hearing Tam's statement of Biana.  "Tam you little b-"

FITZ!!!

I transmitted and was then about to hold him back then realizing we were "fighting"

I cleared my throat and Fitz who still didn't get the sudden hints.  He slowly crept towards Tam while everyone, with their right mind, stayed quiet; except of course Bi.

"Fitz, calm down, you lost Sophie, now don't interfere with my love life."

I winced at that statement, this prank had gone way too far, if I didn't stop it now Tam would get hurt.  I jumped on top of Fitz and with all my energy took him down onto the couch.  "You need to chill out!" I held his face in my hands, "For me?"

"Soph he's gonna hurt her.  He joined the Neverseen, and that is more than enough to hurt my sister."

"Or, they will love each other," Linh cautiously chimed in.

"Yeah, well-"  I cut him right there and planted my lips on his.  Pulling away, everyone stood awed while Fitz finally looked a little less bull-like.

"You too-" Biana stopped, "Wh-what?"

"Yeah, we're still going to get married, we just wanted to, ya know, tense Keefe up a bit." 

And now Keefe, who had been sitting there like a statue with his jaw locked now loosened himself and stood up.  "Look, I'm - "

"Just forget it, k?  We have one more night of the sleepover, and that's it!  We have to make it our best" I waited till everybody nodded, and for once, without any of the drama, we walked to dinner.

Time Skip to After Dinner

"Soph, wanna go for a walk?"

"Oh, sure!  Can we go to the secret garden place?"

I took his hand and walked out on a chilly night.  The moon shone bright, guiding us to the garden, and we sat in there with complete silence.

Staring at the stars, not regretting choices in the past, nor worriedly waiting for the future.  I leaned over and put my head on his shoulder.  Now, it was just him, and me.  Fitz and Sophie.  Fitzphie. 

A/N Hello readers, this is my last chapter for this book and if you read my announcement you'd know why.  But basically, I just want to take a fresh take on KOTLC.  It will still be based on Sophitz but will have a real conflict.  So I will see you in a few weeks with chapter one of my new story.  Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
