"SHINICHI! did you hear me!?" ran yelled at shinichi, "you've been gone for so long, then you won't even say a word!"
Ran walks out of shinichi's house, angrily.
"hey kudo, didn't ya notice that ya break her heart?" heiji informs shinichi.
"let us just let things look like that." shinichi reply.
"kudo!"
"12 midnight, hattori, bring ran and the others to beika city hotel." shinichi said as he closes the book his reading and stands.
"wait, kudo! what are ya really tryin' to do!" heiji asked.
"it's a surprise, hattori. surprises make everything more exciting." then he smiles, arrogantly. "ah! that's right. hattori, can you lend me a hand?"

"hurry, Ran-chan... Walk faster. Don't be so slow.." kazuha keeps on pushing Ran forward. "this is the moment."
"the moment? What are you talking about, kazuha-chan?" Ran reply.
"christmas confession, christmas confession..." kazuha keeps on repeating until they stop in shinichi's front with a box in the middle.

"look forward." kazuha said, pointing on shinichi and leaves.
"Sh-shinichi.." ran whispers.
"yo, ran." shinichi said.
ran's eyebrows meet, "don't just 'yo, ran.' me after being so cold on me!" she utter.
"about what happen earlier, i wanted to apologize, so i brought you a gift."
ran looked down and saw a box ..
so, this is the gift .?? she thought to herself.
ran slowly opens the box and what a surprise.! its kudo shinichi.
"shinichi!" ran blurted in surprise.
"yea, its me, ran." shinichi from the box answered.
"then who's .....?" ran was confused.
"its heiji."
"that's right," then heiji removes his mask revealing his face, "he asked for help so i lend him a hand."
"shinichi, what's all of this stuffs about?" Ran asked.
"its almost time."
"eh?" Ran was puzzled.
"juu... kyu... hachi... nana... roku... go... yon... san... ni... ichi..."
then a fireworks display appeared on the sky, forming the words 'Ran, marry me'
"eh? W-what was that just now?" Ran turns red.
"this is the place where my parents chose to get married. So, i brought you here." shinichi explains.
"so, there's really a reason why you brought me here before." Ran said.
"that's right." shinichi faces ran and he holds her both hands. "i-i've already made up my mind. i wanted to marry you." shinichi starts to blush.
Ran's face turns more red. "but shinichi... You never said before that you love me."
"because love is a word that can't be define by words and can't be deduce by logic. It is express by actions and feelings." shinichi said with a charming smile.
"shinichi....." Ran whispers with joy. "i've been waiting for this for so long.."
"yo, kazuha, what happens if a boy and a girl is standing underneath a mistletoe?" Heiji asked kazuha.
"they have to make a kiss." kazuha answered.
Ran and shinichi look at heiji and kazuha with a redish face and ask the same thing, "are we standing underneath a mistletoe?"
"why don't ya look above?" kazuha answered.
the two of them slowly look above and saw a mistletoe hanging above them.
"wh--whaaa---"
their faces turn very red and they throw their look to the fireworks display.

shinichi's face suddenly turned pale.
what's this? My body...... My... Heart's.. B-burning.. he told to himself as he took heavy breaths, holding his heart, intensely.
"are you alright, shinichi? your sweating." Ran said, concernly.
"hey! kudo! could it be...." hattori stated with fear.
"it can't be..." Ai said with a scared face. "i've been like this for 6 months, so i'm pretty sure that's definitely the antidote."
"Hey! Haibara! What's going on?!" shinichi yelled.
later, shinichi scream so loud and he lost his conciousness.
"get a hold to yourself, shinichi. i'll go and get a doctor." ran said, panicing.
"no need for a doctor." Ai responsed, sarcastically. "i believe artificial respiration will be fine." then she glared at shinichi.
"if that's the case, i know how to perform that." ran said as she prepared herself.
eh? artificial... respiration...? could it be ... he he he... that's a no way. heiji thought to himself.
so, ran perform the artificial respiration right away.
while performing, shinichi slowly pushed ran's head towards him, and that made their lips touched.
ran's face turned red while shinichi slowly opened his eyes and wink at her with a pervert smile.
far away from shinichi's expectations, Ran got very mad and he received a very painful back-slap from her as a christmas gift.
"that's what you get for fooling around." heiji said, smiling.
"merii kurisumasu!" Ai greeted with a smile.
