A/N: Greetings! I'm back with another request made by @_trxsh .I hope you do like it. Thank you to everyone who also requested. I'm trying my best to get those out to you as quickly as I can. Just bare with me for a bit. Other than that, enjoy reading some fluff with the stunning Kiyoko Shimizu. (⌒‿⌒)
Encased in the warmth of the evening sun blazing through the gothic cross window one last time before it takes a nap for the day has passed, you were lying, quiet on the numbered bed, sinking yourself in the depth of its fresh crispy sheets, enwrapped with a lavender scent.
The room you were in was devoid in beauty.
The walls were plastered with bleached white paint, inevitably splattered with the speckled of dirt while the patterned wallpaper underneath began peeling off from the corners. A perfect place for spiders to inhabit, knitting web sweaters at any vertices it could find, trapping its prey and preparing them for a well-earned buffet.
There wasn't any decorations and paintings you could admire unless the randomly located anti-bacterial gel dispensers could be considered as the optimum peak of fine art that Monet would be proud of.
You would think for a place that was designed to lift up the spirits of the ill, the room would be filled sickly with colours and inspirational quotes but the CEO, wealthy as Croesus, couldn't agree at all, thinking that a few house plants and a corkboard filled with overlaying notices and medical leaflets would definitely improve the morale of the patients within a few minutes.
As of late, you've spent most of your week in a hospital bed, being in a car accident a few days prior. Your injuries weren't too horrific but you did end up with a broken foot which was currently winched up by some elastic for a more comfortable healing process.
Even though you experienced your aching injury with great fortitude, you showed gratitude to the higher-ups for giving you another chance of living another day. Another day to wake up and eat your favourite food, or dance to your favourite song in the car and speak to the people who are so dear to your heart.
Your parents came by to see you, giving the much-wanted company as well as some magazines and uncompleted books you had lying around at home, just so that you have other means to pass the time rather than staring aimlessly out the window. There's only so many times you could admire the sunset, notably when there's a zero possibility that it will do the same for you.
Still, you were grateful to get some new reading material for the weekend.
There was virtually nothing for you to do.
If lucky, you would request to watch a movie on VHS using the hospital's vintage tv as the trolley it perched on, was positioned in front of you at the right height so that it didn't strain your neck too much and you could have a stress-free cinematic experience.
However, the tv is always on high demand so for now, all you had was the virescent potted ivy plant next to you, dropping down, cascading itself around the legs of glass end table it was sitting on. You often circled the leaves on your finger, waiting for the unknown to open the door and give you a warming smile or more specifically the right person.
"Miss (L/N), you have another visitor." Your nurse popped her head out from the double doors and gave you a smile. Even though she had a pleasant aura surrounding her, you could tell she wasn't thrilled about there being another visit 10 minutes before closing.
"Call them in and could I also have a glass of water too, if it's not a bother?" The nurse nodded and called the mystery person, leaving the door open for them using her foot before getting you some refreshments.
