"Overlooking a small village set a house more of a mansion with all its windows boarded up. Ivory grew up and down the sides of the mansion giving it an eerie and creepy beauty nobody lived there because of the ghost stories about the family that lived there before. Everyone that walked passed the old road that led to the old house would without even noticing it glace nervously at the home watching the windows as if they would see the old family watching them. The Moons were one of the founders of the village and everyone alive 80 years ago when the Moon's disappeared would say that the father was a mean old man. He had been two beautiful daughters, Elsa age 19, and Kate age 19 who all the men in towns fell for. Many men would travel and ask the father if they coil have the girls' hands in marriage. There was also a 20-year-old son the oldest of the three Luke whose father wished for him to take a wife by the age of 22. People say what happened was that their father snapped after his wife Catherine was killed by some passing thieves he then killed his three children in their sleep. I do not believe as have some people in the past that the father killed them I think they left they had the money to do so if they wished.
I head back to my set as are teacher Miss. Apple speaks
"Mr. Apollo that was a good presentation but they found three bodies meaning they could have not upped and left.
I went back to my seat to set I looked at my friend Hays Green who grinned at me.
"Nice you did good I think the same" He whispered to me.
"Now I know it's not Halloween intel a month but I want you to write a 6-page essay about the Moon and what you thought happened to them to be turned in on October 31st." Miss. Apple then smiled at us.
Sighing I realized I had a lot of work to do now. Just then the bell rings for the end of English and the end of the school day.
"Jade Jade Jade " I heard someone shout at me I turn to see one of my friends Elizabeth (Beth) Young.
I continue to walk outside acting as If I had not heard her I then stand to the side where she will not see me when she comes out. As soon as Beth stepped outside I jumped out and she lets out a high-pitched scream she then slaps me.
"I hate you so much, Apollo. Also, there's going to be a party tonight up at the old Moon manor do you want to come" Beth asked me
" No you love me, and of course, I am going to the party" Even if I didn't"t want to she would drag me there against my will.
