Leia had gotten word of Kylo Ren ripping apart the galaxy as he searched for you, leaving nothing but ruins behind him. If you weren't reunited soon, there wouldn't be a galaxy left to save. They would drop you off on Crait that night.
You missed him. You missed his scent, you missed his voice. But most importantly, you missed the night you shared. You wanted to go back to that night, lying down next to him. Feeling your energies mix. You wanted him.
Did you have feelings for Kylo Ren? It was a question you didn't want to answer. He was mean, and he was coarse and unrefined. But you had seen another side of him. A side with compassion.
Did I just quote Beauty and the Beast?
A rumble in your stomach woke you from your thoughts. You swung your legs to hang off of the side of the bed, and then placed your feet onto the cold floor, sending a chill up your spine.
You stood up, exited into the hallway, and followed the smell of cooking food until you walked into a large room filled with people.
One by one, their conversation ended as they noticed you in the doorway. You looked out of place in your hospital gown.
You searched the room for a familiar face. You saw Poe and your eyes locked. He quickly got up and headed towards you.
"Hey Sunshine. Ready for a rematch?" He said, taunting you.
You lips curled into a small smile, "Sorry about that."
"Don't worry. Leia told me everything." He said as he motioned for you to follow him.
He brought you to a table occupied by Finn, Rose, Chewbacca, and Rey. They were all staring as Poe motioned for you to sit in an empty chair next to Rose.
Hesitantly, you took the seat. Poe said he would be right back as he headed to the line to get you something to eat.
No one spoke. Your eyes darted from person to person, studying their expressions. Chewy looked as thought he couldn't care less as he ate his food. Rey on the other hand, was glaring at you from across the table.
Finn and Rose looked at each other, then back at you. You noticed a bandage on Finn's head. You knew it was from your altercation yesterday.
"Sorry about your head." You said as you looked at Finn.
He put his hand up to rub his wound. "It's okay. The First Order had me in the dark for a long time too. I'm just glad you figured out the truth."
You nodded in agreement. Poe was back now with a tray of food for you. He took an empty seat next to you as you began to eat. You were forced to stop as you felt Rey's eyes burning into you.
You looked up to see Rey giving you a look of pure hate. In a cold voice you interrupted her glare. "What's your problem?"
She quickly rose to her feet, pushing her chair backwards in the process. You cautiously put your hand where your lightsaber should have been, but remembered it wasn't with you. She stared down at you before storming off out of the room.
Everyone was quiet. A nerve was in the air, leaving everyone on edge.
Poe broke the deafening silence. "She's been acting different lately. She's not the same girl we found on Jakku."
You were shocked by the amount of darkness you saw in her. It was growing every second. You knew it wouldn't be long before it consumed her.
You looked around the crowded cafeteria. "Is there anywhere more private we can go? I need to tell you all something."
Poe nodded and led you all outside. The planet was covered in dense forest. It reminded you of your home on Earth, making you feel home sick for the first time since you arrived.
You were led into the Millennium Falcon. Poe, Rose, Finn, and Chewy all sat on a curved sofa around a small table. You stood, waiting for their attention.
Once all of their eyes were on you, you took a breath, ready to begin. But you were interrupted by the sound of clanking footsteps coming up the ramp.
You turned to see a gold colored droid, he raised his arms and spoke. "Oh my! The prisoner escaped! Help!"
Chewbacca yelled something at him, causing him to lower his arms.
He shook his head and changed his tone, "No one ever tells me anything."
He looked back at you now, in a much more friendly tone. "Hello, I am C-3PO, human cyborg relations."
You nodded and gave him a quick smile, "It's nice to meet you C-3PO."
With that, he shuffled over to the others, taking a seat next to Chewbacca. Not wanting any more interruptions, you closed the ramp.
You regained your position in front of the others and began to explain what you knew.
"A great darkness is rising in Rey. I'm afraid that soon, no light will be left in her."
Finn kept his head facing the floor as he backed up your statement, "I feel it too."
You continued, "Rey is a Palpatine. If she goes to Exegol, she will turn."
Rose gasped. Poe stayed silent. But Finn stood up now, "No. We know Rey. She wouldn't do that."
You shook your head. "You're letting your feelings blind you. You said it yourself, there's darkness taking her over."
Rose sounded hopeful as she grabbed Finn's arm. "We can stop her."
You shook your head, "No. This is her journey. She has to decide her path for herself. We can't help her now."
Poe spoke out in frustration, "We can't just sit here and do nothing."
"The time will come for us to act. We just have to wait for the right moment." You were searching for a solution as you looked at the people in front of you. Only one came to mind.
"I have to get back to Kylo Ren. We don't stand a chance if they join forces. I have to bring back Ben Solo."
Finn shook his head. "Rey thought she could turn him once, but she failed. What makes you different?"
"I don't know what or how, but something is bonding us together. He'll listen to me. I know it." Saying it out loud seemed to bind it to reality.
You knew they couldn't understand, but no one argued. They knew it was their only hope.
