"oh, but that's not even the end of it." y/n says as her and rory walk through the hallway during their last few minutes before free period. rory looked at her with a shocked expression. "there's more?" y/n had just finished telling rory the story of when she forgot to add water to mac and cheese. not a great sight.

the bell rang, and you and rory walked to english together. you sat down next to each other, since the teacher didn't assign seats - she was quite epic.

the lesson went by quickly. in fact, all of the lessons with rory went by quickly since he was so fun to talk to. you kept sneaking looks and funny faces at each other while the teacher was turned around. he drew smiley faces on your notebook paper while you drew lobsters (dont ask why).

once the bell rang, you smiled and laughed at each other. class was dismissed, and you headed onto all your other lessons before lunch.

——————————————————————————

once lunch arrived, you headed to rory's locker as he still needed a bit of direction around the school. you stood behind the door of his locker, and as he closed it he noticed you and smiled.

"top of the mornin' to ya." he looked you up and down. "you too. how's me irish accent comin' along?" you mocked him, to which he playfully punched you in your side. "haven't we gone over this? my accent isn't that horrible." you smiled at the boy before walking side by side and heading to lunch.

by the time you had arrived, lunch had already started just by a few minutes - as you and rory were just talking in the halls which caused you to walk a bit slower.

you both got the main line, which was chicken sandwiches and fries. "i don't know about you, but in ireland we had the good kind of milk. not this trashy school milk." rory looked at it in disgust. you giggled, and told him to drink it or else the cow will step on his leprechaun face- which for some reason he found very funny.

once lunch was over with, you and rory went to your afternoon classes - which you didn't have together, and sure enough the final glee rehearsal of the day had arrived.

you sat in a plastic chair next to rory and tina, who was sat next to mike. he had an arm wrapped around her; you had always found those two the cutest. you wished you could have that type of thing with someone, but you weren't sure who. you didn't know your feelings like that towards anyone, nor have you ever felt anything like that.

mr schue walked into the room interrupting one of rachel's annoying bossy rambles to finn. "alright, it's now wednesday. i hope your duets are coming along well, as you have tonight and all of tomorrow to practice for the competition. there really isn't much to do this week, as we can't practice because we aren't supposed to show each other's plans. alrighty then, i'll let you guys go. have a nice night, everyone!" he yells as everyone leaves while the bell rings.

you and rory push out through the doorway, and you stop at your locker - which was closest to the choir room. you then place your books into your locker and take home the things you needed for tonight, such as your homework and your notebook for glee.

you looked past the locker door, taking a peek at rory to see how he was doing. "what?" you laughed, confused by the boy. he was just staring and smiling at you, almost as if he was admiring you. "rory?" you waved your hand in front of his face, to which he snapped out of it. "s-sorry, what?" he looks at you, embarrassed. "nothing, i just wanted to know if you were gonna get your things from your locker. you were staring."

he looks down at his feet shyly. "yeah, i'll go get them. sorry for staring, i didn't mean to!" he hurries off to his locker. you shook your head and smiled as you watched him run off. you leaned up against your locker, thinking. did i actually like him, or is it just because i've never been this close with a boy- not even in a friendly way..? you shook the thought off as he approached you again. "ready to go?" he asked you, and you nodded, following him out of the door of mckinley high and to your home.

god, you loved his accent.
