Today is Tuesday and Cassie is currently asleep. Her alarm went off a while ago, but right now it's currently sitting in her bedside table, in pieces. Today isn't Cassie's day, she had a late night last night, watching the re-runs for Supernatural. She knew it wasn't a good idea to watch re-runs on a school night, but when the show started playing, she knew she was done for.

'Cassie, you better get the hell out of bed and start getting ready.' Her mum yells from the kitchen. She waits, no reply. 'I swear to god Cassandra James, if you don't get out of bed, I will take away your car.'

Slowly, Cassie starts getting out of bed, pealing herself away from the comfort that is her bed and into the bathroom. She looks like a hot mess, minus the hot and triple the mess. It would take her at least 30 minutes to get ready but after checking time, she only had 10 minutes to get ready if she wants to get to school on time. She is going to be late and she knew it. There is no way in hell Cassie is going to leave the house looking like a freak show.

She takes a quick shower and slipped on a t-shirt and a pair a grey jeans. She then starts straightening her hair while eating breakfast which probably isn't a very good idea as she keeps burning herself every ten minutes. Getting ready was always a task for Cassie. By the time Cassie was done, she was late for school, no surprises there. She walks down the stairs and greets her mum with a 'morning' before quickly rushing out the door. Her mum looked furious when Cassie took a glance at her. Cassie knew she was in deep shit as soon as she left the house, she knew she had to buy her mum some flowers or chocolate to calm her down, but the main priority is to get to school.

---------------

Cassie gets to school just in the middle of second period. She was proud of herself as she never arrived to school that early, ever. She walks through the empty hallway, taking a left and right turn before stopping in front of her locker. She twisted her combination before taking her maths books and heads to class. While she was making her way to class, she bumps into someone, making everything in her hands end up on the floor of the hallway. She knew this was a man as this person had a hard and firm chest.

'Hey asshole, watch where you're going,' she yells down the hallway as the man starts rushing away from her. 'Not even a damn apology,' she says through her teeth. She sighs before picking up everything of the floor and shoving it in her bag. When she finally arrived at her maths class, there was only 5 more minutes left. She decided it was no use going to her maths class and so she went back to her locker and got ready for the next class.

------

Lunch finally came and she was greeted by her best friend Sam Cameron. Sam is what you would call a badass. He was fear by most, viewed as a criminal to the world but in Cassie's eyes, he was just another person. They became friends in freshman year as they both had no friends, at first they viewed each other as acquaintances, but throughout freshman year they became best friends. They became inseparable.

'Where the hell were you CJ?' He said as they were making their way to the cafeteria.

'Late.' She murmured. He then goes on complaining about how bad maths was, and how Mr. Smith might as well retire before he dies in the classroom. There was no doubt Mr. Smith was old, but passing out during class was a little over the top, but that was Sam.

'You dramatic little fuck,' she said under her breath, hoping he didn't hear her, but he did.

'I am NOT dramatic, I'm just being real. He'll die one day in the damn classroom, you'll see.'

'Yeah and you will too, from a 4 by 4 cell in jail for killing him.'

Sam acts shock and goes on denying about how he would never kill an old man that had nothing to live for, and even if he did, he would be doing him a favour. She then excused herself to use the bathroom. She makes her way down, the now empty and quiet hallway towards the closest toilet. Along the way, she saw a figure move in the corner of her eye, she turned but there was no one there. She decides to ignore whatever was there and kept walking. Seconds later, she saw the figure once again. Letting the curiosity take the better of her, she walked towards the direction of the figure. She knew better to shut the hell up. The amount of horror films she watched with Sam, taught her not to scream in situations like this unless you want to end up dead.

While she was walking towards where she last saw the figure, she started getting worried. The eery hallway didn't assure her nerves either. With each step she took, the more dangerous this situation becomes. She was getting closer and closer, until she was about a metre away from where she last saw the figure. She quickly hid behind the lockers, calming herself, then suddenly, a hand went over her mouth and she went down.
