Every story has one before it.

Now, we all know the story of Ciel Phantomhive, The Queen's loyal Guard Dog, but, this is your story, after all, and we must start by hearing your story.

Now, if I may, Ms. (Name), I''ll start at the beginning, for it is my job as your narrator to do so. You were a happy child, from a simple, just getting by family of you, your mama, and your papa. Your papa worked as a coach driver, and your mama worked at the town laundromat. Your papa took late hours, and your mama was always so tired that she fell asleep as soon as she got home, so, naturally, you were often by yourself. You didn't mind, because it gave you time to think.

You thought about many things, your mind sometimes wandering to darker places that you dwelled in for hour upon hour. They didn't bother you much, these thoughts. Yet little did you know that your indifference towards them intrigued a certain creature who had been watching you for a while.

Now, this creature, we will hear it's story later.

On a certain day, the thirteenth of November to be exact, you saw this so called creature, watching you. Your initial reaction was fear, then it faded into curiosity, more than anything, you were intrigued by the gruesome humanoid figure who had seen you from the shadows. Your eyes came into contact with the deep red ones of the figure as it stepped out of it's hiding place, losing height and size in general. It soon stopped shrinking, taking the form of a young man.

He had silky midnight black hair and his eyes, his eyes, oh how they fluttered and shone with the deep red irises with flecks of gentle creamy yellow and vivid blue. They were impossible to describe with much detail, for they always seemed like the colors were churning together. He wore a monocle over one, obscuring the beauty behind it. His skin was pale, so much that it seemed to glow in the dim light of the setting sun. His face curved into a sly smile, his sharp yet elegant features made him seem too perfect. He wore a  black tail coat, that seemed to be perfectly tailored for him, the interior was of satin, and the exterior of silk. His hands were covered by gloves the color of freshly fallen snow.

You were more than fascinated by this interesting figure, but then, it spoke to you.

"You've spotted me, tiny mistress."

His voice still lingered in the air. It was a gentle luring sound, each word like a note in a lullaby, swaying in the air dragging you down into sleep.

You hated it. You hated the way he looked, the way he sounded, the way he acted. It was too perfect, but you still found yourself intrigued.

"I'll admit, your soul smells delicious, and for this reason, I ask you, would you like to form a contract with me?", his sweet velvety voice persuaded.

Your soul... this is when you realized the obvious, this man was a demon.

A demon was offering you a sort of wish in exchange for your soul by forming a contract. You've no need for a soul, what have you got to lose? You have a wish ready anyway.

"I... I accept your offer.", you answered to him, your breaths coming out in puffs of white steam.

"Where will I place the contract?"

You thought a moment, then offered the smooth palm of your small hand.

"And what is your wish?"

"I want to find my real parents."

Your mama and papa were kind to you, and you loved them. But they were not you biological parents, and more than anything, you wanted to find you biological parents, even if it meant having your soul eaten by a demon.
