Senku's P.O.V
"You never stop surprising me Senku!" I couldn't see Chromes face since he was behind me but I could imagine it, he's so amazed by anything I do. I could just make Sodium tetraborate decahydrante and he would see me as a genius, I mean it's a pretty simple thing. For you oaks who don't understand it's more commonly called Borax.
I simply chuckled at his claim.
"so what's this sodium hypothing for?"
"It's called sodium hypochlorite, it's a disinfectant just like soap. We need chlorine and a sodium hydroxide solution, to make a hydroxide solution we need salt "
"I should have some in the shed, I'll go look"
He stood up and exited the chemistry lab in such a gracious way by tripping over his own feet and landing on his face. Am I really working with this guy? I thought to myself
"you should really be more careful" Someone said in a soft voice.
"Thanks Gen who's so much nicer than Senku" Chrome said loud enough that the whole village could hear.
I just rolled my eyes and pulled my middle finger up. They both giggled, then Chrome left, leaving the two of us alone.
"What's up mr. grumpy ass" He said trying to lighten the mood since I recently begun to get more stressed every day.
I just glared at him trying to make him understand that I'm not in the mood to joke around.
"Jeez Senku-chan~ I'm just trying to make you smile, you seemed bothered~"
"Yeah bothered by you. You're a pain in the ass " He grinned at my comment.
" ouch! that hurt right there!" he said dramatically while touching his chest.
I just rolled my eyes and laid down and the cool floor while looking at the ceiling.
"Hey Senku-chan, why don't you rest a little?You're tired. I can tell by the vanta black eye bags you have, first you become anpanman then a panda"
"Since when do you worry so much about me? plus I'll go to sleep once I'm done with this"
"I'm not worrying about you, I'm just letting you notice that you need to sleep too!"
"yeah right shunk"
" a what now?"
" shunk."
"how am I a shunk?"
" you have black and white hair, you always smell bad and you're scared of everything" I just really wanted to tease him and now I realize the idiocy I just said.
" first of all I'm not scared of everything, I'm a man" that must be the best joke he ever made.
"second of all you're just jealous that my hair doesn't look like celery or something"
"third of all me smelling bad is the biggest lie you ever told" He said while looking at me with such a satisfied look.
"it's not a lie, it's the truth." I said in a confident tone
"Senku-chan I'm not dumb, I know how much you love my flowery smell" Now he was just hard core teasing me. I felt kinda hot, wait am I blushing?! I wondered to myself while Gen continued staring at me.
"I'M BACK AND I'VE GOT THE SALT!" Chrome shouted standing on the threshold of the door.
"I'd be surprised if someone from the village is still sleeping" Gen said
" well let's get to work" I said
Gen's P.O.V
I just stood in a corner, while watching them work. I got a headache from all the things they were saying, I could just se the chemical formulas spinning around my head and I'm pretty sure Chrome isn't understanding a word either since he's just nodding and making confused faces. I wonder how can Senku know all these things, he really is a genius, and I admire him.
"This is so cool, science is amazing!" Chrome said with such a fascinated look.
"this is nothing compared to what's out there" Senku said.
"I really am trying to listen to what you said but I really don't understand what you see in this" I said giving Senku a heart attack.
"SINCE WHEN ARE YOU HERE" Senku-Chan screamed at the top of his lungs.
"You haven't noticed him watching us?" Chrome said in a questionable look.
"No" Senku-Chan replied.
"By the way since you don't find science that interesting why don't you let me introduce you to this whole new world" he said with a a smirk that literally made me anxious.
"Maybe I can change your mind~" he said making a more terrifying smirk.
"Um yeah no thanks" I said while backing down and putting my hands up.
"Ok then see you tomorrow at ten sharp here" Senku said.
"Yeah see you there..." I said automatically giving up my freedom.
