Dr. Joy Hamm has served as the Chief Enrollment Officer at a variety of institutions, including a community college, a mid-size public regional university, and a small highly selective institution.
This experience included working with athletics at both the NJCAA and NCAA Division II level. Dr. Joy Hamm understands how to help enrollment management professionals meet their recruitment goals!
Joy Hamm began her higher education career in student affairs, working with student conduct, residence life and housing, fraternity and sorority life, alcohol and other drug education, student leadership programs and Student Government Association, student activities, tutoring, counseling, and student disability resources.
Joy Hamm was the author and principal investigator for a federal grant that led to the creation of an office of alcohol and other drug education on her campus. She has published her own research and serves as a reviewer for the Journal of American College Health.
Dr. Joy Hamm has a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Administration from Georgia Southern University, a Master of Arts in Counselor Education from University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Political Science from Lenoir-Rhyne University.
