Dearly departed
Though I never let you go
Still a smile
In your faded photo
And I know
We are separated by stone
But I'll visit you
My memories to roam
I refuse to forget
Wish you were here
Instead of entombed
In frustration and tears
Not an angel
No demon to be found
But a human
Buried six feet down
Dearly departed
Though you may be
You still laugh and smile
If only in memory
