Chapter six: Learning to fly on our own

After I told the tribe that we think the Khal is in Qarth everyone was questioning what I was going to do to get him back. I had to quickly think of a way to calm them down, but all let them know I'm doing everything in my power to get him back, I dont want them to think I don't care about my husband.

"I am going to send out some rider's to scope out the area and to see if we can see him, I don't want to send us into unnecessary wars with people if our Khal isnt there".

Everyone seemed to calm down with this information, "Khaleesi I would happily be of service I will ride out with a couple others if you want to" Jorah said to me walking out for the crowd "of course Ser Jorah, anyone else willing to go?" I asked, I had about twenty other Dothraki start specking.

So, I picked out a few of them and told them to get on their way. It would most likely take a few day for them to get travel there and back. with the riders on their way it should take a few day now I walked back towards my tent.

As I got closer, I started to hear my dragons screeching so I pick up my pace running towards them, Ildatto must have seen me running so he followed me.
I walked into my tent seeing my brother trying to grab my dragons "WHAT ARE YOU DOING VISERYS" he quickly turns around to face me "I am taking what is mine they are not yours" "they are my children."

"Leave my tent this instance" he starts to walk towards me leaving my dragons alone for a split second "don't you dare touch them" "Khaleesi" Ildatto got in his way before he could touch me.

"I am going to take what is mine because I am the dragon"  "you are not the dragon I birthed them not you" he walked out of the tent as quickly as he could because he knew if he tried anything he would have to deal with me or Ildatto.

I walked up to my babies to check on them, Balerion quickly jumped up to one of the ledges I had built for them. He surprized me though by starting to flap his wings lifting himself into the air I was so happy but didnt want to scare him "come on baby you can do it" it was like he understood me he screeched coming to land on the hand I had out in front of me.

I gave him a rub under his chin, turning to look to Vermithor "come on baby you can do it to" he gave me a cute little head tilt of confusion. "its ok baby, if you cant do it you'll learn" I put my hand in front of him letting him climb on. Walking out of my tent I thought I would try and see if he can fly out in the open yet. Letting him sit on my arm while I walked out, Ildatto walked out behind me following me.

A few of the tribe members looked at me with amazement still even though it has been awhile since there births, I just gave them smiles. I spotted Lanqo just ahead of me, so I walked up to him "can you please go get my horse ready for me so I go for a ride" "yes, Khaleesi" I turned to Ildatto "you go find my ladies for me" I told him with a smile he just gave me a nod.

I went to go get something to eat, Rosyn walked up to me "you wanted me Khaleesi" "yes I did, I need you to go get my clothes ready for a ride as well as my weapons" "yes Khaleesi" "Rosyn you dont need to call me Khaleesi" "yes I do Khaleesi" I just gave her a small nod, knowing that she wasnt going to stop. Just before she turned to walk away "i'll meet you there in a bit" she just gave me a nod.

Finally, dressed and ready to go for my ride I pick my dragons back, they climb onto my shoulders and under my cloak making me chuckle because of how cute it was. Lanqo had already tried my horse to the post outside just outside of camp, which isnt very far from where Im standing.

Lotos bloodriders have been following me around since he went missing and I think its because they don't want me to go missing as well, the whole tribe would be chaotic and go into a frenzy. Climbing up onto Black Winter or Winter for short after I unhitched her, making sure all my weapons are secure on to her giving both my babies a quick scratch under then chins then slowing pulling away from the post I turn and see Lanqo, Ildatto and Losho on their horses.

I quickly turn Winter around I try to picking which one I trust the most "Lanqo I only need you to come with me Ildatto, Losho you can stay here and protect the camp while I am gone" "Yes khaleesi" they all said at the same time.

I hate formality but I guess I can't stop that because I married a Khal, it just comes with the title of being his wife. Lanqo and I have been riding for about half an hour trying to find the perfect spot to teach my dragons how to actually fly.

I've come across a few little spots, but I feel like need to be very open to be able to fly far, they are getting bigger as every day passes now and I know that by letting them fly free will help that I just hope that there wont be any trouble for anyone. I dont feel like dealing with a dragon killing or stealing food while trying to find my husband.
