I woke up in a weird place, I tried to get up from my chair but it seemed someone had tied me down. Then I remembered everything, I screamed and screamed for help. Then I heard a door close and footsteps walking down some stairs. I tried to look back to see who was there but I couldn't, the ropes were too tight. But I had a pretty good guess at who was behind me.

" Who are you? Where am I? What do you want with me?!?!" I screamed.

He said nothing, I heard him breathing in... and out.... in.... and out. Great! Did he have to breath from his mouth? I thought to myself.

He hadn't answered any of my questions he just walked in front of me and in his hand he held a knife. He set the knife down, pulled up a chair, and sat down no more than a foot away. He had something over his head, I couldn't tell what it was... my vision was weird from the chemicals in the rag he had put over my mouth. He took it off slapping it to the floor.

" Do you do this to every girl who's out late?!?"

He laughed. He had one of those creepy laughs that were high pitched and weird. He laughed and laughed like I had just made a joke. He stopped laughing in a snap and came even closer to my face. Startled I tried to move away forgetting about the ropes and the chair flipped over leaving me on the floor. He flipped up the chair and all of a sudden I was even closer than before. He whispered in my ear,

"I've been watching you Casey. I've been watching you for a long time..."

I started to panic, freaking out I yelled,

"Let me go!"

He started laughing again.

"Stop laughing!"

He stopped in a flash and looked at me, my vision coming back to me I saw the blood drooling from his eyes right onto my leg.

"Why am I here?!?" I asked again.

"You're here because I've finally decided to tell you how I feel. What I've been doing." He said in a way that scared me.

"If only you'll listen?" He asked.

"I'll listen on one condition, you let me go."

Once again he started to laugh.

"Very well," he said

"I'll let you go once I've told you how I feel."

"Yes, that was the deal!" I said, growing impatient.

"I love you Casey! I've loved you for so long and I've finally worked up the courage to tell you!" He said as though he thought I would be happy, or that it might change my mind about leaving. But it wouldn't.

"Is that it?" I asked.

"No, I would love for you to stay here and live with me!" He told me.

"I can't, I have a family, I have school, and I'm not trying to offend you or anything but.... your not exactly .... good looking!" I told him harshly.

He looked at me as though I had just stabbed a knief in his throat, pain seared his look of grief.

"So, your going to let me go now... like you said?"

"Of course...." he said sadly.

"But just remember ill always love you, and I'll always be right here, waiting for you my love." He said as he untied me. I ran up the stairs and flew out the door faster than the speed of light. I was running down the street looking back to make sure he wasn't following me, he walked out onto his porch and looked at me. He smiled his creepy smile, and blew me a kiss. I ran faster!

My dad was just outside waiting for me to come home, I could see the worried look on his face. He looked up and relief flooded his face as he saw me running toward him. He stood there, and I jumped into his arms when I met up with him.

"Dad! Please! Please dont make me walk to school anymore! Please could you drive me from now on?" I pleaded.

He looked at me and smiled.

"Anything for you." He said calmly.

Surprised by how calm he was about this, I hugged him even tighter. "Now, how about you tell me where you were?" He asked.

"There was a creepy man following me.... he took me and tied me to a chair in his basement. I had managed to have him let me go." I told him.

"Your safe now right? He didn't hurt you?" He asked.

"I think so, I dont feel any pain."

"Good, now it's late you should go get some sleep."

I walked up the steps and into our house where I felt nice and safe. I looked at my dad, gave him one last hug and walked upstairs to my room. I looked out the window, it was raining now. I searched to make sure he hadn't followed me to my house, but there he was standing there looking up at my window. I screamed. My dad came running up the stairs,

"What's wrong!?!" He asked quickly.

"He's back dad! He's back!" I said in a whimpering voice. He looked out the window and settled down.

"Sweetie, there's no one out there."

I backed away from the window. He sat on my bed. Dad looked at my leg and coughed,

"No, dad it's not mine. The man who taken me, well I dont know how to say this and make you believe me."

"Dont worry, with your mother in Canada your the only person I can trust right now. I'll believe whatever you say." He told me.

"Thanks, so... the man who took me, his eyes and nose are constantly bleeding, and he leaned over me letting the blood hit my jeans." I said.

He looked at me weirdly but I think he believes me. He kissed my forehead,

"I'll stay up and watch over the house while you sleep."

"Thanks dad!"

He walked out of the room, and I got ready to go to bed. When I heard something hitting my window. I looked down, there he was again! Throwing rocks at my window! I didn't bother with getting my dad, I knew he wouldn't be there by the time dad showed up. So I walked to my lamp turned it off and walked to bed where I fell deep asleep.
