Chapter 13

It's Monday morning and I have to go to school...but I don't want to.

I lazily got up from my bed and went my siblings room to wake both of them up, I don't even know why they can't wake their selves up.

I sat on Bobo's bed and shook him to wake up, he immediately opened his eyes, that is one thing I like about Bobo, any small touch and his awake, but Chika, that one sleeps like dead body.

" go and wake Chika " I told him pushing him so he could get up.

" Ada now " he whined as he buried his head back in his pillow.

" just go "

He let out a loud groan but got up from his bed and went to Chika's.

I took this as my opportunity to get a little sleep as I lay down on Bobo's bed and tried not to sleep for too long.

Key word - tried.

I opened my eyes but shut it back because of the bright sun light shinning from the window.

Ah... the light. It's killing me.

Wait light?

I jumped out of Bobo's bed and ran to the bathroom, took my bath and put on a dark green sweatshirt and black jeans.

I put my books in my bad took my phone, put on my shoes, my glasses but I couldn't find my hair band, how am I supposed to go to school without that, I glanced at the time on my wrist watch and gasped when I saw 9:47.

I have an English test first period and I'm late, ya maybe I might get a detention for being late nut I cannot miss the test I have been reading for.

Forget the hair band sef. I picked up my bag and ran out of my house and onto the side walk.

I can't remember the last time I actually ran, like with all my strength, ya I'm a pretty fast runner but I stopped running a long time ago.

The school building came to view and I checked my watch again 9:56. I'm gonna make it.

I ran through the doors of my school and into the empty corridors, everyone must have gone to class.

I ran up the stairs and saw my English class room, I'm gonna make it.

I ran to the class and just when I stepped inside.

" riiiiiinnnng "

I'm not gonna make it.

Everyone began submitting their test sheets and leaving the class.

I might as well go before the teacher notices me and gives me a detention, I turned to go but stopped dead on my tracks when I heard this.

" Miss Unoha "

" ugh, she didn't even pronounce my name well " I said to Shirley who was busy on her phone, she has been on it for like so long and it's killing me.

" did you even hear what I said "

" huh " she looked up from her phone at me then around the corridor as if in search for someone.

" who were you talking to " I asked trying to look at her phone.

" uh... oh look it's Brendon "

Brendon?

" Brendon? "

She pulled me across the corridor until we came to a stop in front of a group of boys.

They looked like footballers, you know with the jersey and nice hair and nicely built bodies.

Ya.

" Shirley why are we here " I asked Shirley.

" hey babe " said a guy from the group of boys as he pecked Shirley on the lips.

Shirley turned around to face and noticed my confusion.

" Saph, this is Brendon my boyfriend, I believe you guys have met before "

I tilted my head to the side a little and raised my left brow.

I do not remember this guy.

" you know in the library "

...

Oh, okay that time when I just met Reesha, okay. How can I forget.

" any ways we are going somewhere so " she eaved her fingers at me and both of them turned around and went.

So this girl if just going to leave me like this... chai.

" someone just got ditched " I turned to the guy that said it.

" that doesn't even make sense " I said.

I went away, maybe Andrew will listen to me.

I found Andrew and Summer together doing what they were doing.

" what are you guys doing " I said in wide eyes.

Andrew used this chance to get away from Summer's firm grip, and slid behind me placing his hands on my shoulder.

" Saph, you need to control your friend " Summer scowled at Andrew, twirling her long red hair in her fingers. I giggled at the both of them.

" first of she isn't my friend and second Summer why don't you find some other guy to disturb "

She just turned and went, that has got some serious issues.

" thank so much Saph " Andrew said and went, away, he didn't even wait to hear what I was about to say.

That leaves me alone once again, I should just go to class.

" you wouldn't believe all my friends just left " I was talking to Bianca about all my problems right now, and guess what she is actually very attentive, unlike someone I know.

" well you should leave them too, that's what I did when my friends began to treat me like a slave because Freddy was gone "

Freddy?

" wait, Freddy was one of your friends? " she nodded her head.

" ya one of my best friends actually, but he moved away " she said with a sigh.

I haven't thought of Freddy for a while now, and the promise I made to him, but if Bianca was his friend...

" then you should know what he was planning " Bianca looked at me funny.

" you said he was your friend right " she nodded" then you should know why he wants me to stop Drew from breaking Reesha's heart "

" are you friends with Reesha " she asked in a surprised voice.

" used to, until I told her Drew would break her heart "

" that Drew, this is all my fault " she said " I got to go " she ran of in one direction and soon was out of sight.

That leaves me alone, once again.
