Snape's Worst Memory

"Are you ok?" Draco questioned, there was almost an element of sincerity to his words. "I'll be fine, just a few bruises." Draco slid down the wall next to Mikayla. "I meant about Fred..." Mikayla sighed, she just nodded. "Why do you care anyways?" Mikayla looked to her right, her face not far from Draco's. "Because I do have to give you a punishment for fighting and I want to be fair." Mikayla scoffed, rolling her eyes, "yeah right, just yesterday you were taking points off Gryffindor for fun, what makes today any different?" Mikayla questioned her eyes set on the sinks where the entrance of the chamber of secrets is. "Because, what you said yesterday. About me being like my father." Mikayla furrowed her eyebrows, returning her gaze to Draco's face. "Yeah well I thought you had grown up and realised your Dad is on the wrong side but after what you called Avery, you confirmed that it was all in my head." Draco looked saddened by Mikayla's words, she felt a little sorry for him. Draco looked up at the blonde, Mikayla could see tears beginning to form in his eyes. "I'm sorry. I can be a bitch sometimes even to those trying to help." Mikayla whispered, Draco smiled at Mikayla. "Cho got a detention and 50 points taken off Ravenclaw..." Mikayla looked at Draco confused as to why he was telling her this. "5 points off Gryffindor. That's all, as it was self-defence." Mikayla smiled looking at the Slytherin. "Thank you Draco. Now can you promise me something?" Draco looked stunned at Mikayla's request, "can you forgive Avery? She needs you and quite frankly you need her." Draco nodded standing up, "see you around Black." Mikayla smiled nodded before watching Draco leave the bathroom. "That went a lot better than expected...."

Harry and Mikayla were walking along the Forbidden Forest edge, Harry told her he wanted to talk to her what he saw in Snape's Pensieve. "At first I was standing in the middle of the Great Hall, there was a hundred small tables with students, they were taking their Defence Against the Dark Arts OWL exam. I saw my Dad and I look just like him. Your dad was relaxing lounging back and his hair was on top of your mum's table, she looked like she wanted to cut it all off." Mikayla laughed lightly at the image of her Mum plotting against her Dad. Harry informed Mikayla about his dad doodling a snitch with the initials LE on it, Mikayla started to smile goofily. "You're dad was head over heels for your mum. L.E. Stands for Lily Evans. Your mums name." Harry smiled at that little piece of information. Then Harry went onto explain the conversation they had at the lake and a habit his dad had. Then he tells her that Sirius said he was bored and his dad spotted Snape and that his dad and Sirius approached Snape. "They just started spelling him for no reason, and wouldn't let him fight back." Harry informed her. He went on describing the scene of his dad washing Snape's mouth with Scourgify, and Snape gagging. "Then our mums came along, screamed at our dad's to leave Snape alone. My Dad told them that he was messing with Snape because he existed. She called him an arrogant bullying toerag." Mikayla chuckled lightly at the insult, "then dad said he'd leave Snape alone if my mum would go on a date with him, and she told him that she'd rather date the giant squid." Harry went on to explain that Snape tried to fight back, and how his mum seemed to hate his dad. How his mum said she thought his dad was conceited and stormed off.

"He took his anger out on Snape but didn't get too far because of your mum." Mikayla smiled, "what did my mum do?" "She disarmed my dad, and then froze him. She let Snape down and handed him his wand, told him to leave but he didn't leave straight away. Sirius went to hit her with a freeze charm but she reversed it onto him. Taking both our dad's wands, she took fifty points off Gryffindor and told them if they went after Snape again, she'd hex them herself. Sirius tried charming her from taking points off but it didn't work. She unfroze them and handed them back their wands before walking Snape away from them." Mikayla smiled at her mother's memory of being protective. Harry told her that Snape thanked her and asked her if she could apologise to Lily for him.

"So our Dad's were arseholes and our Mum's were saints." Harry nodded at Mikayla's analysis. "I want to talk to Sirius about it, to find out why everyone says my dad is so great when he was being so cruel to Snape for no reason." Mikayla nodded understanding, "I think we finally figured out why Snape hates you." Harry chuckles nodding his head, he looked trouble by the thought of his dad being a bully. "You're nothing like your dad was back then Harry. You're definitely your mother's son." Harry smiled giving Mikayla a little hug. "I heard about what happened between you and Cho..." Harry admitted as the pair arrived in the Great Hall for dinner. "Just a little misunderstanding about our friendship." Mikayla said out of the corner of her mouth as they walked past the Ravenclaw table to get to Gryffindor tables. "I hate this." Mikayla mumbled as she plated up her dinner, "how did you only get five points off for fighting?" Ginny questioned sitting down next to Mikayla, "self-defence." Mikayla shrugged looking over at Draco with an appreciative smile. "I can't believe she kissed Fred." Hermione said loud enough that most of the people surrounding them turned to hear what Mikayla would respond. "Maybe she likes him?" Mikayla shrugged, looking over at a smirking Cho Chang. "No that was just to get back at you!" Cho called back, Mikayla shrugged off her words and began to eat her food. "He's a lot better at kissing than I thought, I suppose Valerie thought him that." Mikayla forcefully swallowed her food. "Cedric died because of you."

There was a gasp that filled the Great Hall, Mikayla's hands were shaking after that sentence was said. "I can't believe he chose you over me, bet he regrets it now." Mikayla slowly stood up, her heart throbbed in her throat, her ears red in temper. "You let Lord Voldemort kill him!" Cho shouted at Mikayla as she made her way to leave the Great Hall, tears began to brim in Mikayla's eyes. "Cho Chang, 50 points off Ravenclaw for bullying." Draco stood up, "and those 50 points will be given to Gryffindor as a house apology." Mikayla stopped in her tracks, everyone seemed to be just as stunned as Mikayla was. Mikayla turned and sped walked out of the Hall, and rushed to Gryffindor Tower.
