Niall cleared the last table in the café and wiped it down then put the chairs on top so that his co-workers could clean.

He went behind the counter and pulled out the till, taking it to the back office to their manager so that he could count the earnings of the day.

"You are done?" Ronnie, the manager asked and Niall nodded.

"Almost, the girls are just cleaning up." Niall answered.

"Oh okay. You are free to go as soon the girls are done cleaning up." Ronnie said, looking at Niall.

"Bye, Ron. I'll see you tomorrow, yeah?" Niall waved and left the office to go grab his staff in the employee room.

When he had changed back to his clothes, he grabbed his bag and slung it over his shoulder then he went back to the main floor so that he could leave.

"Sir please, I already told you. We are closed." He heard one of the girls trying to get a customer who was pushing his way through.

"What's going on here?" Niall asked just as the lad had pushed his way inside and sat himself in a booth.

"We told him we are closed and already cleaning up but he jus-" She was cut off by the lad.

"I know and I'm really sorry, trust me I am. All I need is just some food, anything you have. I'm starving." The lad said, looking at Niall with pleading eyes.

"It's okay, I'll handle this." Niall said to his work mate and she nodded, going back to wiping down the tables but not after sending a glare towards the lad.

"So like she said, we are closed and done for the day, I'm gonna politely ask you to leave and find a place that is open." Niall said calmly.

The lad sighed and scratched his tattooed arm, making Niall catch a glimpse of his expensive wrist watch.

The cafe was not dingy to say the least but the rich people that came along were just regulars and residents of Mullingar. This lad looked foreign, his British accent had already given him away.

"I just need some food, please. I'm here for work purposes but I just landed and this café is the one closest to my hotel." He explained.

Niall bit his lip.

"If you have checked in a hotel, why didn't you order food from there?" He crossed his arms over his chest.

"Fine, " the lad sighed. "You got me. I'm meeting someone around here for work and I can't wait for them outside, it's fucking freezing." He said with a sheepish grin.

Niall bit his lip in thought again. If this lad was waiting for someone which means he couldn't just leave him with the girls at this time of the night. Granted Ronnie was here but he was in the back, anything could happen.

Although he didn't give off a dangerous vibe. But Niall too looked like a cuddly cute bear when he could break more than ten bones of a person in a minute.

Never judge a book by it's cover was Niall's motto.

"Okay." Niall sighed. "I'm gonna give you a muffin and coffee or tea whatever you'd like but when whoever you are waiting for comes, you will leave and not bring them here because we are closed." Niall said and the lad grinned.

"Thank you so much. I'm Louis by the way, Louis Tomlinson." He stretched his hand out for handshake.

"Niall Horan." He shook the one he now knew to be Louis. "Not very nice to meet you, I'm tired and I'm supposed to be going home." Niall cracked a smile to try and lighten the mood.
