'Is this his way of inviting me to step out with him? I shouldn't be agreeing to any sort of romantic rendezvous with the man!'
She had no intention of becoming a Yugi bride in the first place. Part of her knew she should be firm in declining the offer. She didn't want to get his hopes up or entertain any ideas of them getting married.
"I have the restaurant to take care of, but after shop hours, then...."
"All right. I'll be back to pick you up then!" he said, his smile radiating relief. It was like watching the sun peek out after a rainstorm.
With a faint smile of relief, Lord Tsukasa exited the shop, leaving (Y/N) in a whirlwind of conflicting emotions.
'Why am I having so much trouble coming out with it...?'
Pent-up feelings trailed her throughout her workday, making every task feel heavier than usual. It was as if her thoughts were trying to form a conga line in her mind, and she wasn't sure if she wanted to join.

"Finished?"
Lord Tsukasa lounged in front of the shop like a cat on a sunny windowsill, waiting for her.
"Excuse me for making you wait," she said as she emerged from the restaurant, feeling slightly sheepish.
"Not at all, my little missy~ Uhm... you know... umm—shall we go, then?"
A rosy blush adorned his cheeks as he turned away, looking like he'd just been caught stealing cookies from the jar. (Y/N) couldn't help but chuckle at the sight. She jogged to catch up with him, and soon they were walking shoulder to shoulder.
"You know what, little missy—no, I mean... (Y/N)," Lord Tsukasa said in a serious tone, finally using her name. It felt like an announcement of royal proportions.
"What is it?" She looked up at him, her eyes widening in surprise at the sound of her name coming from his lips.
"I... umm ha—crush... you... my first.." Lord Tsukasa stammered, his voice dropping to a whisper, as if confessing a state secret.
"Crush? What do you mean? First... eh?"
"Yes... a first crush," he said firmly, meeting her gaze with an intensity that made her heart race.
"W-wait? What? A crush? You mean you wanted to beat me up?!" She stepped back, her eyes going wide with mock horror.
"ARGHHH??? What?! NOOO! Whatever! Come on!" He pouted like a child denied dessert, and (Y/N) couldn't help but laugh at his antics.
"Um, where are we going?" she asked, curious about their destination.
"Nowhere in particular..."
Lord Tsukasa answered, gazing up at the sky instead of at her. (Y/N) noticed the pink hue on his cheeks as she studied his profile.
'Is he suddenly feeling shy? Wait, what... WHO IS HE?!'
Even his gait seemed slightly stilted, clearly due to nerves. The realization dawned on her that Lord Tsukasa saw her as a potential Yugi bride—essentially, his wife. The implications hit her like a runaway cart, leaving her feeling somewhat self-conscious.
