Raina
Location: Unknown
I woke up, but something didn't feel right. I looked down. Wait. Why am I wearing my usual clothes?! I'm pretty sure I changed into a T-shirt and shorts before I conked out...
I looked around. Where am I? It looked like a beach, maybe an island, looking at the sand everywhere. I looked at the ocean, its waves calmly coming in and out, in and out. There were whirlpools there as well, but they didn't look violent. I noticed a huge unnatural ripple in the water. I took my shoes and socks off, and slowly walked towards the ripple, letting the waves softly caress my legs and feet. Most kids would run or scream if a wave came close to or in contact with them. But I wasn't like that. Whenever I went to the beach, as soon as I took off my sandals, I'd run straight to the water.
I looked at where the ripple was and took a deep breath. Here goes nothing, I dipped the tips of my fingers in the center of the ripple.
Just then, a large blur of silver and dark blue emerged out of where my fingers were. I looked straight up to see what it was. It was a Pokemon, but I had no idea what Pokemon it was. It was silvery white with dark blue fins and accents. The Pokemon's wings were enormous. It looked at me in the eye and let out an ear-piecing screech.
My hand immediately went to my belt to get my Pokemon out, but I didn't have my Poke Balls nor my Pokedex. The Pokemon shot a blast of air, heading straight towards me.
Owen
Location: Unknown
I woke up with a bad feeling inside of me. I looked at myself. Why am I in my day clothes?! I swear, I did take a shower and changed... I looked around until I saw a familiar looking tower in front of me.
I started to walked towards the tower before it clicked inside of me: This is the tower from my father's drawings and sketches. I took a deep breath and went inside. It was really dark partially because it was the middle of the night right now.
The tower had a lot of floors, and was unusually quiet. No one, not even a Pokemon was here. I sighed, continuing my attempt to reach the top of this tower.

After climbing the ten floors of the tower, I finally reached the top. A gust of wind blew as I looked around. There were four stone statues of birds at each corner of the roof along with four young girls in kimonos.
But, perched right in the center of the roof, was the phoenix Pokemon from my father's drawings. It was bigger than I realized. The Pokemon looked me in the eye before shooting a fireball from its mouth, straight at me, and letting out a shrill cry.
Third Person
Location: Goldenrod City Pokemon Center
Both Trainers woke up, sweating. Raina looked around and then sighed, going to the bathroom. Owen wiped the sweat off of his forehead. He opened his father's journal to the pages he left off on.
The brunette traced his fingertips over the drawing of the phoenix. What do you want with me? Just then, Raina walked up to him. "Bathroom's free." "Alright." Owen replied to her. She looked at the notebook. "What's that?" "My dad's journal." The boy gave it to her.
Raina smiled as she skimmed through it. "Your father's drawings are amazing." She froze as soon as she saw the silver Pokemon that attacked her in her dreams. "Rain? You alright?" Owen asked her.
Raina snapped back into reality. "Yeah, I am. Now..." She smirked at Owen. "Are you going to take a bath or reek of last night?" The brunette blushed. "Oh, shut up." Owen growled racing to the bathroom as the raven-haired girl laughed.

Looks like Raina got the last laugh this chapter. I can see why Owen sometimes hates her.
Next Chapter: A few months have passed in the Johto region, but the dreams keep coming for our two friends. Looks like it's time to hit the books!
OrigamiLantern, lights out!
