my theory for a zombie

A zombie apocalypse will start from a fungi, this fungi will be created by scientists as some sort of medication but it backfired and created zombies. The fungi takes over the body causing  missing body parts to not bleed but instead just stay without the body part. There's no way to cure the desease, as when the body decomposes the fungi stops them from dieing. So when the heart decomposes if you remove the fungi the body will officially die. (This leaves gaps in the body that cannot be restored)

This is just my theory and the way my brain thinks, only my opinion not fact
