A person that was very far away from me
yet still felt so close to me.
Talking nights and days
Sleeping through texts
we take just a sip of sleep
Then we wake up so quick
Excited to talk again.
Right now
I am here
And you are there
Still so far according to distance
Yet what changed is
That we became far in our hearts too.
I hope I see you happy again one day
You were a good friend
Thank you for giving me memories
that for a while made me feel alive
and for another while killed me.
These memories are always in my mind
yet they hit differently right now
When I can see your actions still mimiced in mine
When I see our pictures still there
Even if now we are nothing
But maybe we are still something in these pictures
Our friendship still exists
In one of the lives
