I had a plan, so much to do,
Yet God decided to bless me with you.
I became shy, awkward, and pushed you away,
But your love and care kept me at bay.
I was scared that eventually you'd leave me,
But you opened up my eyes so I could see,
Friends are there even when they're not,
So I gained back my feelings and stopped being a robot.
Some days are plain, others are vile,
But seconds spent with you bring upon a smile.
I will be there in joy and strife,
I just wish you're here throughout my life.
Looking at the sky,
Watching the clouds freely pass by,
I look forward to your silly and witty,
And feel grateful for this sweet serendipity.
We have a bond that knows no end,
Thank you for deciding to be my bestfriend.
