Wendy tossed and turned in her bed, sweat in droplets on her forehead suddenly her eyes shoot open to find two brown eyes looking at her, she sighs heavily before sitting bolt upright the boy springs backwards but instead of landing on the floor he grabbed hold of the curtain railing. "who are you boy?" Wendy says moving towards the frightened fairy-boy she noticed he was floating "Are you a fairy?" Wendy whispered trying not to wake up her brother the boy nodded still in shock, he seemed to be talking to a little pixie sitting on his shoulder "What's your name?" Wendy asked the boy, but before he could say anything he flew out the window "Wait come back" Wendy called out the window but the boy was gone. Wendy decided to go back to bed when her brother John woke up "Wendy what are you doing at the window?" he asked "Don't worry John let us both get back to bed before mother or father come in" Wendy replied. That night Wendy kept thinking about the mysterious boy staring at her. Little did she know but she was about to embark on an amazing journey that would end up changing her life forever.

TWO DAYS LATER~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

At school all Wendy could think about were those brown eyes looking at her, she thought she must have been dreaming, suddenly she was woken from her daydream by her father yelling "WENDY, JOHN COME DOWNSTAIRS AT ONCE"  "Coming Father" Wendy replied before closing her school book and joining her brother on the stairs. When the two arrived in the living room they were greeted with their grandmother talking to their mother "Mother, Father, Grandmother you wished to see us" John spoke looking directly at his father, "Yes I did, I wanted to speak to both of you about some changes that are going to happen over the next few weeks." Their father said sternly looking at Wendy and a look of fear was cast over her face. "What changes father?" Wendy asked her voice shaky "Well now that you and Wendy are almost 16 I thought it would be good for Wendy to be shipped off to America to live your aunt and uncle so she can be taught how to grow up and find a husband and then she can marry and have a family of her own which means that she will no longer be sharing upstairs with you." Their father said looking at his mother who nodded in agreement "But father-" John was cut off by his father "No protest please your mother, grandmother and I have made the decision and that is final, so Wendy what do you say to this?" their father asked "NO I WON'T GO" Wendy yelled before running back upstairs and slamming the bedroom door before collapsing on her bed and crying herself to sleep. Now, this is where the story begins.
