Flashback

Hobi's pov

Thud

"Ugh, that's the 5th time today, I can do better than this!" Just like that I continued dancing until I reached my limit, and my legs finally gave up as I collided into the floor. I groaned in pain and rubbed my sides, I slowly got up and made my way towards the exit.

Knock Knock

"Mom, I'm home!"

No response.

Ahh right, mom's on a business trip. As always I'm at home alone, not like I could complain, the whole reason mom has to work so much is so that I could continue dancing. I have to practice hard for her to.

Everyone always pity me, saying that if I was born in a wealthier family I would have had a bigger chance in being a dancer. That could be true, but there's something they don't understand, something no one ever understood.

It's because my mom is working hard, it's because she supports me, that's why I'm so determined to accomplish my dream. It's all thanks to her.

I want to be someone she can lean on, someone she can be proud of.

But all I hear is,

"Poor boy..."

"How unlucky..."

"What a waste..."

I give up, no one understands no matter how much I explain. It's useless.

"Hyung where's your mom?"

"Tae I told you not to talk about his mom!" Jimin whisper yelled at Tae.

"Ah... nevermind hyung, sorry for bothering you" Tae said, scratching the back of his neck nervously.

"Nah it's fine, she's just out for some business trip." I answered.

"Ohh, you're so lucky to have such a hardworking mom," Tae replied with a big smile plastered on his face. I looked at him shocked, he was the first one to ever talk about my mom that way.

I'm glad not everyone thought of my mom negatively, I looked at Tae and said, "I sure do have a great mom,"

The rest just looked at me shocked, but soon understood why I said that. They shot an apologetic smile at me, and tried to change the topic.

I'm glad I made friends who understood how I felt.
