After that day, Yuki had decided that maybe she would open up to some of her classmates and make some friends. After all, she was going to be stuck here for atleast another month, and it wouldn't hurt to atleast be acquainted with a few people.

The most obvious choice was Tsukishima Kei and Yamaguchi Tadashi. After all, they did ask if she wanted to join them for lunch every single day.

Well it was mostly Yamaguchi asking, and Tsukishima making some sort of rude comment to annoy the girl.

Today was no different, the bell had rang, meaning it was time to eat lunch, and just like every other day, yamaguchi had walked over towards Yuki and Tsukishimas desk, taking a seat directly across from Tsukishima, glancing up at Yuki.

"Hey, Hayashi-San, want to join us for lunch today?" Yamaguchi smiled up at Yuki, who was stood up, ready to walk back to her own room to eat lunch.

She paused, and turned around, debating whether or not she should stay.

"Oh? What's this? Has the stuck-up queen finally decided that she isn't too good to eat with the commoners?" Tsukishima snickered, and Yamaguchi glared at him from across the desk.

"I'm not stuck up Tsukishima-San, I just like my alone time!" Yuki cheerfully replied, staring directly into the golden eyed boy. "But sure, I'll sit with you guys for today, thanks!"

Tsukishima's face burned up at the direct eye contact made, and he put his head down to hide it.

'Damn why does that happen every time?' He thought himself 'and why did she decide to sit with us today?'

Yuki took her place at her desk, and angled her body so that she was facing the two boys, "so, what do you guys usually do during lunch?" She pulled out the lunch that she had made herself that morning.

"Uh, not much of anything really..." yamaguchi replied, suddenly feeling very aware that he had no idea what to talk to Yuki about, "we talk sometimes, other times we just do work."

"Ah, well how about you tell me about yourself Yamaguchi-San?" She smiled his way, completely ignoring the blonde haired boy sitting to her left.

"Huh? Hayashi-San, do you have a fever?" Tsukishima chuckled at the black haired girl.

"What? No? Why do you ask?" She replied, placing her hand on her forehead, checking her temperature.

"Oh no reason, it's just not normal for the queen to come out of her castle and talk to street folk like us" he sneered.

"Hey! So what? And stop calling me Queen" she scoffed, "it's not good for my reputation."

"What reputation? The one where you don't have any friends?" He taunted, rolling his eyes in her direction.

"You know what Tsukishima-San, I'm trying here, and you're making it extremely difficult, so please excuse me." She huffed, and she stood up to walk away, "I'm sorry, Yamaguchi-San, I would have enjoyed to get to know you if your friend over there wasn't such a royal pain in the ass all the time"

She quickly exited the room and began to walk down the hall, she was about to turn the corner until she heard her name being called.

"HAYASHI-SAN!" She heard a deep voice yell from down the hallway.

Tsukishima Kei.

She began to walk faster, just wanting to escape to her room as always and eat lunch by herself, but she was stopped by a large hand grabbing her by the wrist and pulling her the complete opposite direction.

"What do you want Tsukishima-San?" She grumbled, "I don't have the patience to be nice anymore"

"I actually wanted to apologize..." he huffed, looking the other way. "I didn't mean to offend you, I was just shocked that you actually agreed to eat lunch with us today. Not that I really cared when you didn't, but I was still shocked."

"It's fine, you don't have to apologize" She said that, although, her eyes began to well up with tears, "I probably over reacted anyway haha"

Yuki looked away, trying to hide her tears from Tsukishima, who was shocked by the sight in front of her.

"Um, Hayashi-San, a-are you crying?" Tsukishima asked, horrified.

'I hate when people cry in front of me' He thought to himself.

"I'm sorry Tsukishima!" Yuki quickly bowed, apologizing profusely, "I swear, I don't normally cry this much. I'm just, im having a hard time with everything."

Tsukishima's eyes widened at this statement, not knowing how to respond.

'Damn, I really really hate when people cry in front of me' He sighed.

"Ah, nevermind. I shouldn't have brought it up. I barely know you anyway." She quickly wiped her tears and apologized once again, turning around to walk down the hallway once again.

"Wait!" Tsukishima, unwillingly, subconsciously, just called out to the crying girl in front of her.

'Damn it Tsukishima, what did you do that for'  He mentally facepalmed himself, not knowing what to do next in this situation.

"Yes?" She asked , body still facing the direction she was walking in, and only her head turned to face the taller boy standing behind her.

"U-um, if you want to be friends, I guess that would be okay." He blushed.

'Damn. Why do I keep blushing? What am I? A teenage girl in love?' He clicked his tongue at the thought. There was absoloutley no way he had any sort of feelings for this girl. He was just being nice for a change.

"It's okay Tsukishima-San." She smiled, tears still running down her face, "You don't need to pity me. I'll be okay. Have a nice lunch"

And with that she turned back around, and ran down the hall, back to her room and calmed herself down.

Tsukishima on the other hand, was left at the end of the hallway, in shock at what just happened.

'Ah, it's the feeling again...sympathy?? For some reason it just doesn't feel like that.' He clicked his tongue, annoyed that he wasn't able to figure out what this feeling was. 'Whatever. Not my problem' and with that, the tall blonde walked back to his classroom, where Yamaguchi was waiting for him.

"How did it go?" The green haired boy asked.

"She's too weird" the boy mumbled, slipping on his headphones, telling Yamaguchi that he was done talking.

But the feeling in Tsukishima's stomach didn't go away as he thought about the black haired girl with no friends.

As a matter of fact, it hasn't left his stomach since yesterday.
