A brutal 2 weeks have passed since the incident in the volleyball gym, and Yuki and Tsukishima had not spoken even one word to eachother. The boy often stole glances at the girl during class in the first week they weren't talking but quickly stopped when he realizes that she was serious about not talking ever again.
Yuki reverted back to her old ways, sneaking off to her room, every chance she got, spending her time only doing school work and calling her family back home.
She of course didn't tell her family what had happened the first day she arrived back, simply because she didn't want them to worry about her, but she could tell that they knew something was off about her lately.
It was around 7 pm and Yuki was just heading back to her room after taking a walk. She was quite far away from her room though considering she had been taking the long way around campus to avoid the volleyball gym, but tonight it was really chilly for some reason and the girl had not brought a jacket.
'Surely they're out of practice already' she thought to herself, 'Usually they would be getting out around this time, or a little later so it might be okay to risk it. After all, it is the closest route back to her building.'
She walked down the sidewalk that would eventually trail parallel to the volleyball gym, constantly looking around to make sure to avoid any of the boys of Tsukishimas team. She was extremely embarrassed about the scene she cause when she last was there and did not plan on talking to any of them for a very long time, atleast.
As she neared the volleyball gym she closed her eyes and relaxed her body as she continued to wait. There was not a person in sight.
Atleast, she thought.
"Yu-Chan!" A girl yelled from behind her, "Wait up!"
Yuki stopped in her tracks, slowly turning her head to look behind her, even though she already knew who it was.
"Shi-Chan." The girl muttered back.
"Can we talk?" The black haired third year wrapped her hand around the younger girls wrist, with a hopeful look in her eyes.
"Uh, sure." Yuki pulled away from her grip and stood back staring at the familiar face. It hadn't changed much, she just looked older and more mature. "Where do you want to go?"
"You want to just go to the common area and sit there?" She asked.
"Sure" she said as she made her way to the area in the center of the campus where there were oincbuc tables and benches everywhere.
The girls sat down , as far apart from eachother as possible, the air between them extremely tense and uncomfortable.
"How are you Yu-Chan?" Shimizu asked gently, not sure how the girl was going to react.
"I'm good." The younger girl deadpanned. She had anticipated this moment for years, thinking about how the conversation was going to go. She always thought that she wasn't mad and that she would run into her arms and be best friends with her once again, but now that they were together, she was angry more than anything.
"That's goo-"
"Cut the crap, Shimizu" Yuki interrupted the older girl, sounding very similar to Tsukishima.
"I'm sorry." She chuckled, "I guess I deserved that."
Yuki just sighed, looking straight ahead avoiding looking into the other girls eyes knowing that she would cry. She can't help it, lately, her tears just didn't stop coming.
"But really" Shimizu looked down at her fidgeting hands in her lap, "You deserve an explaination. Even though you won't like it."
"Go on, then"
"When I left home for the last time, I never intended to come back"
Yuki snapped her head in the older girls direction in shock, "You knew you were never coming back? B-But you told me?"
"I know." She sighed, "it's the biggest mistake I have ever made"
"Then why?" Yuki asked, desperation laced in her voice, trying to understand why the girl would ever do such a thing, "Please help me understand. I just don't understand."
"I needed a new start." She whispered, ashamed of what she was telling the girl.
"FROM WHAT!" Yuki screamed back, feeling surprisingly confident in her words, not a single tear dropping from her face, "You had everything you ever wanted at home! Was I not good enough for you? I waited for you! I waited for years!"
"I'm sorry" she quivered
"Stop saying you're sorry!" She raised her voice again getting more and more angry, "What Tsukishima did to me hurt, and it was frustrating, but what you did to me has been affecting me every single day of my life since then. You don't deserve to be forgiven." She spat in the older girls face.
"I know I don't deserve it, I know I don't." She replied, her fave growing more and more sad, tears beginning to fall, "I had to do it Yuki. I don't expect you to understand."
"Whatever." She stood up from the bench, walking away, her aura projecting anger, "im done with you. I'm done with this school. I'm going home."
"Yu-Chan, wait!" The older girl called after her.
"What?" She soat, "And stop calling me that."
"Don't leave. Tsukishima needs you. I know you're mad at him but he's been so different every since that night." She pleaded, "please, he cares a lot about you."
"Guess he should've thought about that before he lied to me." She deadpanned, glaring at the girl, once again breaking away from her grip and walking back to her room.
Without a second thought, she packed what she could in her suitcase and left Karasuno, hopping on a train back to her town. Back to the safety of her bedroom. Back to her loving family.
Home...
Where she belonged....

Sorry for the short chap folks, but I'm shortening them because this story is honestly going a lot longer than I expected, I planned out 12 chapters, but I ended up spreading those out and I still have about half of the plot to write so. Whatever. Enjoy.
