It had been months since Yuki and Okada has started dating, and Yuki was entirely, 100% sure that she was in love.
She thinks...
She's not really sure though, because she's never been In love before, but Okada just gives her this feeling, and he's always complimenting her and telling her how hot she is, and taking her out to dinner or to the mall.
The only think about Okada, she realized, is that she can't talk to him the way she talks to Tsukishima, and lately she yearns for a conversation like that, with Okada, with Tsukishima, with anybody.
Every since Yuki started going out with Okada, she hasn't spent time with Tsukishima, or even texted Or FaceTimed him, because Okada said he doesn't feel comfortable with that, and if she talked to him anymore they would break up.
Yuki did not want Okada to break up with her. After all, they were in love.
Yuki often reached for her phone to call or text Tsukishima when Okada was busy, but finding herself unable to call him, out of fear not only for her relationship with Okada for her friendship with Tsukishima.
Yuki really missed Tsukishima and their casual conversation and their deep talks and their teasing and laughing.
And boy, did Tsukishima miss Yuki.
Tsukishima would never admit it to himself, but his family could see it, his teammates could see it, even Tsukishima himself could see how it affected him.
How her being with him affected him.
He tried not to notice, but he couldn't help himself. Every day when he left for practice he would notice the way the pair were sitting outside of her dorm room on the bench, either arguing with eachother or just sitting in silence, on their phones.
Tsukishima often glanced over at the girl to see if he could get any sort of reaction from her, but she always gave him a quick glance and then looked away, as if she wasn't allowed to look at anyone else.
As if she was scared.
This worried Tsukishima, because he knew that she was the type to talk, and if she's not talking then something must be wrong.
But he never said anything, no there was no way he could. He thought about it several times, reaching out to her to see how things were or to see if she was okay, but he knew that it wasn't a good idea. He didn't know why, because after all, they were best friends, and they talked about everything, but something about Okada made him nervous and he couldn't bring himself to send that message.
Yuki, on the other hand, was constantly waiting for Tsukishimas text, as she was lonely and bored, even with Okadas company.
"Why are you constantly looking at your phone?" Okada snapped at the girl sitting next to him on the bench, "I'm right here, there's no need to have your eyes glued to your phone, are you waiting for something? A call? A text?" His tone getting more and more irritated with every word
"No! I'm sorry, I'll put it down. I just want to do something I'm bored!" Yuki told her boyfriend, hoping that he would suggest they go do something, but lately all he had ever wanted to do was hang in her dorm room, but it often made her uncomfortable so they spent a lot of time outside.
"Well, why don't we go inside?" He smirked, getting closer to her, putting his mouth up to her ear, whispering, "we could have so much more fun in there, don't you think?"
Anxiety filled Yuki to the core, as she often had to deny this request, and it always made him mad. "You know I don't like to be in there" She responses nervously, noticing people walking by, starting to get out of afternoon clubs or practices, "don't you think it's nice out? We can just sit outside..."
