Yuki was home for a few weeks visiting while school was on break. She wasn't quite sure what to do, she kinda missed her life back at school. She had mostly just been doing schoolwork and hanging out with Hana for the short time she was there.
"Hey honey, how are you doing?" Yuki's mother walked into Yuki room to see her laying on her bed looking at her phone, as she usually was. To be honest, she had been kind of moping because Tsukishima had barely talked to her since she was gone, it was like he had forgotten she existed, even when she texted him everyday, "have you talked to Tsukishima today?"
"No." She rolled her eyes, "I don't know what's up with him."
"Have you tried calling him?" She asked her daughter, sitting on the edge of her bed.
"No, it'll just annoy him." She groaned, "I don't even know why I care, this is just like him. He's so....weird."
Yuki's mother chuckled, and placed a hand on her shoulder, and Yuki gave her a look of confusion, as if to say "what?"
"Oh nothing..." she laughed, "I just can't believe that after all these months you still haven't figured out that you have feelings for him" And with that, she got up and walked out the door, looking back just as she walked through, "I'd call him honey"
Yuki sat there in shock.
'There's no way that could be true' She thought to herself, 'I've never liked him that way'
But then she thought about the way Tsukishima was always there, even when she didn't want him to be. She thought about the way he always walked her home and the way he always stayed to make sure she had company before she had to go to sleep. She thought about their constant texts and phone calls that first break, almost a year ago. She thought about the way she felt when she wasn't with him- a feeling she wasn't sure was meant for a friend. And mostly, she thought about what he was doing right now, and felt a pit in her stomach when she realized he wasn't with her right now.
"Oh my god" she said out loud, eyes wide as if she just came to some great realization, "I have feelings for my best friend"
She rolled over and grabbed her phone, texting Tsukishima.

Yuki put her phone doing, expected a long wait, but to her surprise, he texted back almost immediately.

"Hey" he greeted calmly
"I'm coming to campus"
"Right now?" He asked, "you still have a week at home though"
"No, tomorrow. I'm coming tomorrow" she said in one breath. For some reason, she was extremely nervous and wasn't really sure what she was doing. She didn't even know what she was going to say and she hasn't told her fsmiky she's leaving early. "I need to talk to you"
"Okay?" He questioned, "I'm right here, we can talk now."
"No, in person" she rolled her eyes, "and why are you being so stingy lately, it's annoying"
"You're annoying" he retorted, "And I've been busy"
"Yeah okay whatever" she rolled her eyes, again, for what felt like the hundredth time that day, "just come by tomorrow after practice, okay?"
