I could sense his arms being placed on the poles next to me, trapping me in. I was locked and I couldn't escape. A prisoner. Slow, quiet words filled my ear and sent shivers up my body. I was hot. So bloody hot.
"I know you want me, Hannah. You may be blind, but I can tell that you like me more than you hate me. You tense up when I enter a room and your cheeks turn pink." I let his words sink in, and the truth was, I did like him. He may be an arrogant arsehole, but in a way, he was my arrogant arsehole.
"You want to know something?"
'YES!' I shouted inside my head, but the words wouldn't come out. I opened my mouth to say the words, but I felt like my tongue was tied down. Instead I nodded.
"I like you too."
