Chapter 5

Chapter 5: Confusion and texting

I was sleeping over at Alice’s since my parents wouldn’t get home before late night. We had laid pillows and covers all over her room so it would be really cozy. We loved sleepovers and we were always talking about random things. But this time was different. We only talked about one thing. (See what I did there). We talked about the boys.

“So…” Alice suddenly said.

“What?”

“Do you like Louis?” she sounded totally happy about it.

“I like all of the boys. They were really sweet” I said.

“I mean: do you ‘like like’ Louis? Like in love” she said in a ‘duh’-voice

“What?! Where did you get that from?” My eyes went wide open.

“I can see it in your eyes. You think he is hot. I mean he is hot so why wouldn’t you like him? Even though Niall is hotter…”

“I don’t ‘like like’ him. He’s sweet. That’s it” I said trying to sound convincing. I haven’t thought about it. Did I like him? I mean, he’s cute and looks good, but do I like him? No I can’t! Why would he want me anyway? And he is in a worldwide popular boy band.

“Fine. Whatever. Just let me know if it changes.”

“Of course. No secrets between us, right?” I said.

“Of course not! Why would you think that?”

“Oh no reason… I kinda want to know what you said to Harry.”

“I just said that I thought he was the second cutest but that you disagreed. I said that you thought Louis was the cutest” she said like nothing was wrong with spilling out that I thought that Louis was the hottest.

“You did what?! Omg you did not tell him that! Please tell me you didn’t!”

“Well I did.” She laughed.

Oh no… My life is over. Harry will tell Louis and then it will be totally embarrassing if we see each other again.

The rest of the night went on like every other sleepover we’ve had. We talked, laughed, put on nail polish and watched movies. We were watching ‘Romeo and Juliet’ when I suddenly got a text. I looked at it but there was no ID. I read it anyway.

Hey Love. I wondered if you wanted to hang out with the boys and me tomorrow. We’re leaving tomorrow night and we have the day of, maybe you and Alice would show us around the town? It would be great. The other boys wants’ you both to go ;)

I knew it was Louis. No one calls anyone ‘love’ besides him. I showed it to Alice. She just nodded and then her eyes went back to the movie. I texted him back.

To: Lou <3

Sure. We would love to show you around. But won’t you be noticed? Maybe it isn’t such a good idea… J

Two minutes later I got a text from him.

From: Lou <3

Don’t worry. We got that covered. We’ll meet you in front of Alice’s house (the driver got a GPS and saved the coordinates) ;) see you 2morrow <3

I had now saved his number so know he was called: Lou <3

I didn’t know why I had put a heart after it but it looked good. Just then I noticed that he had put a heart in the text. Well many people do that. I didn’t focused more about that.

To: Lou <3

Yeah, see you. You got that covered? How? Oh well, I’ll just wait and see ;)

I send it and watch the movie done. After that we went to bed. I was lying on the floor on a madras and Alice was asleep on her bed. She snores… but I’ve gotten used to it by now. But I still couldn’t sleep. I laid there in forever and thought about the boys. Louis. Did I like him? Does he like me? No. They leave tomorrow. It can’t be.
