Lunch in hell

 Y/N's POV

Once the endurance tests were finished, the end result was students standing around with exhausted expressions, fanning themselves and searching for some form of hydration. It was physically taxing, after all. 

I sat at the nearby bench, wiping a towel over your face to try and get rid of some of the sweat. You could head back to your locker later and grab your water bottle. Maybe that would help in some way. 

"Hey! Do you wanna go to the cafe with me and Deku?" A cheerful voice broke you out of your daydreaming as you looked up. Uraraka ran up to you, obnoxiously waving one of her hands. Her other hand held onto a backpack tightly, a huge smile on her face. 

"Sure! I'd love too!" I said, grabbing my water bottle chugging it down rather quickly until its empty. I toss it in the trash and begin to walk with Uraraka. I had decided i would swing by later to pick up my stuff and change back into my uniform. I liked the pants anyways.

'I wonder if I can ask Prinicipal Nezu for some shorts instead of a skirt..' I thought as we finally arrived to the cafe.

"Oh! Hey L/N!" An upbeat voice once again snapping you out of your trance. This one instead belonging to the greenette you just recently became friends with.

"Oh please, just call me Y/N" I said. "I much prefer it over my last name anyways"

"Oh sorry! I was gonna ask if you wanted to sit with us!" He beamed

"Maybe for a little bit! I also wanna talk to some of our other classmates too if that's cool with you guys." I said

"Yeah, that's cool with us!" The brunette beside me chirps. I slightly jump completely forgetting she was there.

"Yeah totally." Midorya says surprisingly calm. It almost looks like he's saying it through gritted teeth.

"Dope." I said, walking over to their table and sitting down. I wasn't really too hungry so I just sat there and talked with Uraraka.

"Oh! I almost forgot! I brought you a water bottle!" He says opening up his bag. He hands me the water bottle and I thank him. I almost gulp it down with how dehydrated i am despite having gulped down my previous one. 

"Woah! Slow down L/N- I mean Y/N! You'll choke!" He says trying to stifle a chuckle.

"Sorry! My quirk takes such a drain on my body that it's hard to resist water sometimes!" I say nervously after embarrassing myself

"Its fine! Don't worry about it" He beamed!

I see Kirishima and Mina walk by and decide to get up to go talk to them. I say my thanks and head off. I swore I could have seen Midorya's face drop into something more sinister and then bounce back to talk to Uraraka..

"Oh, Hey L/N!" Mina says "You did great at the endurance test! I'm so jelly!" I see Kirishima cringe ever so slightly at the word jelly. I stifled a giggle.

"Oh yeah, you guys were cool too!" I said trying to keep casual conversation. 

"What are you extras doing standing aro-" Bakugo interrupts "Tch. What are you doing here?"

"I'm here to talk with my classmates?" I say in a confused tone.

"Not anymore." He says trying to drag Mina and Kirishima.

"Bakubro! Let go!" Kirishima says trying to get out of his hold.

"No. Don't waste your time on this extra!" Bakugo says as his infamous anger issues kick in.

"Hey! Leave them alo-" I try to say.

"STAY OUT OF THIS! IT DOESNT CONCERN SOMEONE AS LOW AS YOU!" Bakugo barks at me.

I suddenly feel a hand on my shoulder and heavy breathing down my neck. I jump a little in fear of who or what is behind me. I turn ever so slightly and see a flash of green towards the ash blonde man.

I grab Mina and Kirishima and pull them away so as to not get caught in the scuffle. Midorya was on top of Bakugo punching the everloving shit out of his face. Bakugo's hands were restrained under Midorya's knees as to render his quirk useless.

Countless kids crowd around the commotion as I watch in horror. Bakugo with more then likely a broken nose and Midorya with utter anger spread across his face.

Midnight arrives at the scene and we all quickly scatter knowing she's going to use her quirk. Breathing heavily.. Me, Mina, and Kirishima all take a deep breath and try to calm down.

"What in the actual FUCK just happened..?!" I say.
