Chapter 2 - Do you like ponies?

The next morning:

Text from JJ:

Hi!! I’ve got loads of stuff planned for our date! Meet me at the apartment at 2 pm, and don’t bring your most expensive clothes!! Xxx

You read the text and look at the time, it’s already 1’o clock!? You quickly answer the text with: Hi!! Sure, I’ll be there, I can’t wait! Xx

You rush out of bed, and into the bathroom, while you’re in the shower you think about where the hell this date was gonna be? You head into your room to try and find clothes that aren’t too fancy, but still look nice. You pull on a pair of jeans, and a white long sleeved top. You head downstairs to make some breakfast, you aren’t really hungry, it must be a mixture of excitement and nerves you think. 1:50 pm, you better go, even though JJ’s place is only 2 minutes’ walk away. You don’t wanna be late for the first date with the guy you’ve liked for 3 years.

   You knock on the door, Jaymi opens it: “hi Elise” he says while giving you a hug, he looks quite hung over, but last night was great.  JJ comes out and says hi, and gives you a massive hug, and a kiss on the cheek. “Are you ready to go?” he asks. “yes, but where are we going” you say curiously “wait and see” he says with a smirk on his face.

   You drive for about 15 minutes, and then you pull up at a farm, a horse farm. “Do you like ponies?” JJ asks. “No, not really, I’m kinda afraid of them actually” you say, but with a smile on your face. You get out of the car, and walk together up to the stables, with JJ holding your hand. A horse is ready for us when we get up there. JJ asks you to get on the horse. “But I can’t actually ride the horse” you say confused. “Don’t worry, I’m here” He says, and gets on the same horse, he takes over the rains, and gives the horse a slight kick with his foot. You ride into the woods, you really don’t like the riding, but you can feel that JJ has perfect control of the horse, which calms you a bit.  You stop at a large hill, JJ ties the horse to a tree, and you sit down on the hill. JJ sits down behind you, and you lean back into his arms. ‘I could stay like this forever’ you think to yourself. “this is a lovely place, do you come here often?” you say. “I used to, before I moved to the city” JJ whispers, while he kisses you on the back of your head.  “Want to gallop?” he asks. “NO, JJ!” you say and get up as quick as you can. JJ gets up as well   “I promise you that nothing will happen to you, okay?” he says, while brushing your hair away from your forehead. He takes your hand and drags you over to the horse again, this time JJ sits in front of you. “are you ready?” he asks. “Not really” you say, but the horse is already in a fast trot by this time. You wrap your arms tightly around JJ’s waist, while the horse gains speed.  It wasn’t as bad as expected, actually. By the time you get back to the stable, it’s starting to get dark. You get off the horse and JJ gives you a huge hug, and says “Go home, and change, and be at my apartment at 7 okay?” “Okay” you say. You look him straight into his huge beautiful brown eyes, and smile. 

You go home at get ready, this time you wear some nicer clothes. You come over to the apartment, and knock on the door again, this time JJ opens the door “hi babe” he says. You say hi, and give him a hug. He takes your hand and drags you into the kitchen; the table is set, with roses and candles. You sit down, while JJ goes and gets the food. “I made you pizza, I know you love it” he says, while he puts the huge pizza down on the table. “aww, thanks JJ, it looks delicious!” He sits down, and you start eating. “Wanna know a secret?” he laughs. “Yeah?” you say. “Well I don’t know how to say this, but uhm……. I didn’t actually make the pizza myself, Jaymi made it, but, but I told him what to put on it” you hear a slight laughter coming from the living room, I was Jaymi. “Do you like it?” he laughs loudly from the living room.  “Aww JJ, thats okay. THANKS JAYMI, ITS REALLY GOOD!” you laugh.  Josh comes in and serves you both a glass of wine and says “bon appetite” “But Josh, we’ve finished eating” JJ smiles “Whatever” Josh says with a French accent.

  Ria has come round “hello turtledoves” she says laughing. You all decide to watch a film, the boys persuade you to watch a scary movie, Ria and you aren’t very much up for the scary movie, but you go with it. The boys put ‘Scream’ on. Ria and Josh sit down, cuddling each other. JJ sits down in the sofa, and you just stand there. “Come here” JJ says opening his arms. You jump into them and he wraps them around you. You don’t really like the film, you’ve never liked scary films. But JJ being there helps, a lot. When the scary parts come you burry your head into his chest, and he holds you tightly. 

  When the film is finished, it’s already 1 am. You and Ria decide to walk home together. Josh and Ria walk out to the hallway, you follow them, but you feel JJ pulling your arm. He pulls you into his body, and holds you tightly. He puts his hands on the sides of your head, pulls your head closer, and kisses you gently. His lips are soft, and perfect. You almost get tears in your eyes. You stare into each other’s eyes for what seems like forever, before he pulls you into a hug. “Bye, see you tomorrow” he whispers. “It’s been an amazing day, see you” you whisper back. You walk out the door, and he keeps holding your hand, he lets go, and blows you a kiss, and you start walking home with Ria.
