Charlie was a victim of bullying at school. Everyday he'd get bullied in every way you could imagine, from hateful words to beating after and during school. One day as Charlie was walking home after another horrible day at school, he was stopped by Frank the schools meanest bully.
"Hey there gaylord" Frank slapped his hand down hard onto Charlies back.
Charlie didn't say a word or make a sound of pain, he just kept on walking with his head down and his writing notebook in his hand.
"Whats this your diary?" Frank teased, yanking the notebook out of Charlies hand.
"Give it back!" Charlie cried, reaching for the book only to be pushed down into a puddle of muddy water.
"Ha loser" Frank laughed and threw the book at him.
After Frank left, Charlie got up and slowly walked the rest of the way home. When he got there he went straight to his room and locked the door. He thought about all those times he'd been bullied and how nobody helped them. Some just laughed at his misery, others just looked and kept on walking.
"Why me?" he thought "Maybe if I was gone things would be better"
With that said he went over to his desk drawer and pulled out a small container of sleeping pills. He stared at the container and sighed, putting it back in the drawer.
"A stomach full of pills wouldn't work" He thought to himself "If only there was a way to tell them all how it feels..maybe...just maybe they'd listen"
Charlie looked at his notebook that was laying on his bed, he picked it up and started writting down some lyrics to a rap.
The next day at school he saw that the talent show was coming up so he decided to enter and do his rap.
On the day of the talent show he watched as each kid performed their talent. He started having second thoughts about his rap, but it was to late his name was called. Slowly he stepped onto the stage with his guitar and started playing then singing.
My legs are dangling off the edge
The bottom of the bottle is my only friend
I think I'll slit my wrists again and I'm
Gone, gone, gone, gone
My legs are dangling off the edge
A stomach full of pills didn't work again
I'll put a bullet in my head and I'm
Gone, gone, gone, gone
Gone too far yea I'm gone again
It's gone on too long tell you how it ends
I'm sitting on the edge with my two best friends
One's a bottle of pills and one's a bottle of gin.
I'm twenty stories up, yea up at the top
I've polished off this bottle now it's pushin' me off
Asphalt to me has never looked so soft
I bet my momma found my letter now she's calling the cops
I've gotta take this opportunity before I miss it
'Cause now I hear the sirens and they're off in the distance
Believe me when I tell you that I've been persistent
'Cause I'm more scarred, more scarred then my wrist is
I've been trying too long with too dull of a knife
But tonight I made sure that I sharpened it twice
I never bought a suit before in my life
But when you go to meet God you know you wanna look nice
So if I survive then I'll see you tomorrow
Yea I'll see you tomorrow...
My legs are dangling off the edge
The bottom of the bottle is my only friend
I think I'll slit my wrists again and I'm
Gone, gone, gone, gone

A stomach full of pills didn't work again

Gone, gone, gone, gone...
He looked to the crowd of the shocked kids and said "Everyday I get bullied for no reason at all and all you people do is watch as I get hurt emotionally and Physically. I wanted to tell you all how badly it hurts me everyday to the point where I almost took my life. And to all you kids out there that are getting bullied don't give up hope, your not alone in this world there is a light in each one of you, but you just have to find it. One day there wont be no more pain of being bullied because it doesn't always have to be hell forever you just have to keep moving forward with your head held high. To all of you bullies you don't see what your doing to the victims of your bullying. When you say all those hurtful things your killing them very slowly to the point where the decide to end it once and for all. Don't take their life just because you think it's funny to tease them or your having problems and it's the only way you know how to solve them. Talk to somebody...speak out..don't be afraid to call out for help. Thats all I have to say"
As Charlie was walking off stage he bumped into Frank.
"Nice rap, Charlie.." He patted his shoulder then walked away.
Charlie could hear the crowd cheering and shouting out a nickname they had given to him "Charlie Scene".
From that day on he no longer got bullied and people started to take action on bullying. You really can make a big difference just by small little things you just have to try. Your never alone in this world there is people out there who cares. There is a reason to life, there is hope for everyone it doesn't matter who you are or what you look like or anything, your you and thats all that matters. All those imperfections are what make you perfect in your own way. <3
