The next day
There I stood outside the nagas forest, I had to be fast once I entered however if I was too fast then it could attract unwanted attention. These were snake people after all, they could break me or eat me if they really wanted to...much like a dragon. "Don't Tell me you're scared?" I'd forgotten about the royal guards behind me. We were waiting for Kirishima who opted to join me which only meant I had to bring two people back alive. Wonderful! My tongue ran over my canines wondering if they'd taste snake flesh today or not "Hey kitty cat!" I turned smiling at the dragon knight "you made it!" We fist bumped before looking into the depths of the woods before us "you been in there before?" I nodded "the dryads sometimes took me here growing up. I made a friend but I doubt he remembers me"

We both walked in slowly keeping close. I could smell human but it was in the distance "so what exactly is a naga?" I crouched down pointing to a tree in the distance with a boa-like wrapped around the branch "that's a naga" his mouth formed an 'o' shape realising what he'd gotten himself into. "I bet they have the human in one of their nests" his eyes widened as he chuckled nervously "this- this isn't the nest?" I rubbed his back soothingly "relax, there's only one in the nest...probably. But they're possessive bastards, like dragons are greedy...sorry not meaning to judge" he shook his head "no, you're right. We like our gold" I shuffled forward "get ready to run, they move fast for slinkies"

My feet carried me forward under the leaves with the dragon trailing behind "don't think I can't smell a filthy flea bag" I motioned for to keep going as I stood revealing my self "all I ask is that you don't attack me like some human" I saw the human part of the snake hang a little away from me smiling "now why would I go and do something like that?" I folded my arms secretly retracting my claws "you're a naga aren't you? Snakefolk. You trick, you smile, you feed, and you coil" my neck was seriously starting to ache from looking directly upwards.

The cold scales against my ankles made me shiver "that I am" I stepped on its tail before it could wrap anymore around me "I'm gonna pretend I'm not offended you tried to wrap me up like a burrito. Tell the dryads I say 'hi'" I was well aware the dryads knew I was here, trees speak to them and I was surrounded by the trees. I started to walk away "don't you want to stay with me where you're safe and protected?" I froze as I felt the tip of its tail start rubbing behind my ear but why'd it have to feel so good?!

"N-not particulary" the damn serpent could see I was enjoying it "are you sure?" My hand quickly slapped the tail away before cupping my ears poking my tongue out "but it's so warm and cozy up here" you have a bed now, remember?! Remember the bed! The bed! That's warm and cozy too! And it's not a death trap! C'mon why is it so hard to resist!? "Why don't you slither back in whatever hole you dragged your scaly body out of, hmm?" I ran before i could be tricked anymore quickly finding Kiri outside the nest

"he's in there but he's wrapped in something" my eyes grew wider, I knew the snake that had the human coiled. Kayu was a viper sort of snake, but he'd never harmed a human. I strolled slowly "Kayu? That you?" The snake's vermillion eyes locked on me "mangy cat! Wait- Arisu?" I gave a little wave sheepishly "Hey?" I was quickly consumed in arms. His arms. "I wasn't gonna eat him I swear! He just got lost out there and then the others were gonna kill him! Gosh it's great to see you!"

I looked him up and down following the black and crimson tail around the cave "I knew you'd be longer but seriously?! You had to go this far?!" We both laughed lightly before the viper's eyes turned to Kirishima "oh that's Kirishima, he's a friend. Dragon but a great guy" they seemed to get along great "you haven't chosen a mate have you?" I didn't want him to get the wrong idea "I'm pan, but no. It hasn't been one of my priorities" I could see the way he moved that he only thought of me as a friend "it never was, kitten" he suddenly shot up "we never got to test that thing, can I?" I nodded reluctantly.

Like the other snake, he brushed behind my ear seeing my bliss "it works!" I gave him the middle finger while almost falling asleep "ok, s-stop" he smirked "you don't sound sure" I leaned into his touch "nope, you definitely don't want me to stop" I nodded lazily literally sat on the floor "I'm totally telling Bakugo about this" I shook my head before flopping forward onto my back "d-don't you d-dare...god d-don't s-stop ever" I'd never felt so tired and happy before "a-aren't we meant to t-take the- oh that's the spot!" Kiri had his arms folded smiling "he can wait, this is too funny! The 'almighty terrorising' catfolk has been tamed by ear scratches"

Seconds away from sleep, Kayu stopped earning a pout from me "this stays between the four of us" I walked over to the human sniffing him slightly giving a look of discomfort "humans always smelt like junk and pond water" Kayu shrugged "well they did push the poor guy in, cut him some slack or I'll never touch your ears again" I gave him the 'sad kitty' face with dropped ears and that infamous pout "don't look at me like that!" I crawled up on the ledge he'd laid on sitting on top of him making the face again "fine! But you'd better come back here or I'll reduct the 'bestie' name" I grinned sweetly "you're still weird, at least we haven't changed" I patted his shoulder "I'll be back when I can"

I hopped down but he coiled he halfway "or you could just stay with me? So secure and no one would harm you again" the coil slowly rocked me back and forth loosening and tightening "I have a job to do" thanks to being fluffy-ish, I was able to slip out and throw the human over my shoulder "but I promise you'll see me again" he nodded as we left quickly finding his way back.

Kirishima kept teasing my ear "would you quit it?" He giggled as my ear twitched as his finger brushed the rim again "no way! It's hilarious" I rolled my eyes seeing the king waiting for us with the guard "not a word Kirishima, I'm serious. I'll suffocate you in your sleep if you do" he smirked raising his hands as we stepped out of the forest "what happened to the dumbass?" I raised an eyebrow "got lost and pushed in a pond, my king"

The second I finished, Kirishima's finger was back at my ear again "please stop, please stop, please stop?" I tried my best to resist it "we both know you can't fight it" I could see the amusement on the king's face "I will resist!" My knees buckled under me as I grew tired once more "surely this is animal abuse?" My words betrayed me as I leaned into his hand with a blissful expression "I could still eat you, if you wanted" I nodded slowly "after this, please do." Kirishima started on my other ear "Oh that's not fair!" My head rolled back "consider it your initiation, kitty cat"

After awhile he finished and I was named 'spymaster' before Kirishima told the king how 'scary' the naga woods are and how 'brave' I was when I 'sacrificed myself' to 'save' him. There's nothing like a tongue bath to finish the day snuggling down into a large comfy bed that beats a naga's coil any day.
